I love the progressive steps you're taking with Sol. Earlier, with his grandfather, then the classroom hamster that had expired.

One has to worry about the kid's sanity after so many early encounters with the walking dead.

What I'm now dying to know is where Riza's actual parlor fits into this origin. Does she become motivated because of Sol's special condition or is it an incredible coincidence?

I'm back with the horrible grammar plot (OH NO IT'S THAT GUY AGAIN!!! STOP HIM!!!) sorry, because of my tight schedules I'm no longer able to make any illustrations nor make any progress with my manga works (it's sad I know, but I'll get my much deserved opportunity one day here's hoping) Anyway, this is the continuation of the 9th Draft of Riza's Parlor. The development for Riza and how she turned out to be the person she is will be out pretty soon. I'm having a lot of ideas about some upcoming plots and I'm getting drawn into writing a lot more about Riza this time.

Please bare with the bad English, (since this is only a rough plot and straight out of my head, and into electronic data I did not have much time to re-check, edit and stuff)

Return From the Crypt 2nd Part

“Damn it! My limbs won’t move!” Sol blabbered as he desperately tried to move his body. “Oh no, Mai! Why…? Why can’t I move? Damn it! She’s not like Riza, although she is cute, she is pretty tough and won’t go down without a fight, but Mai…” Tears trickled from Sol’s face as he started to recollect his past encounter with his dead grandfather, “I loved my grandfather so much that I didn’t want him to go, but a miraculous thing happened, his body came back to life and of all people I was the only he approached… Why…? Why did I become scared of him…? Zombie or not, he was still my beloved grandfather… Or is it maybe because he was not the same person anymore, the living essence of a person, his spirit is no longer in his body… A body without its spirit is no longer human…” Sol clutched is fists and took a very deep breath “I am a man, I have been through this many times, I came to this far away town to strengthen myself so that when I return to Riza she will see me as a man…” And with a sudden burst of confidence, Sol screamed with all his might “UWOOOOOOOOH!!!” and dashed out to rescue Mai, “I’m coming Mai!”, “Sol-san!” exclaimed the frightened Mai, “What are you ding out here!? Let’s go!!!” Sol yelled, “My pet dog it escaped, I was trying to catch it, but… Please help me get it to safety Sol-san!” Mai pleaded, Sol stopped momentarily and said “where did your dog go?” “Ah, he’s there!!” Mai screamed as she pointed at the front gate, “Alright leave it to me!” Sol valiantly uttered as he dashed off to capture the escaped animal. “OOOOOOOOHHH!” the moans of the zombies are getting closer and one by one they started to appear out from the bushes, Sol quickly grabbed the dog and sprinted back toward Mai, “I got him, now lets go!!” Sol grabbed Mai by her waist and dashed toward the house, but Mai’s ancestors have already awaken from their tombs and are already awaiting them at the door, “Where do we hide now!?” Sol asked Mai frantically, “Everyone is up in the ceiling, the zombies can’t climb up vertical ladders, we need to go up!” Mai answered, “How do we get there? The path inside the house is already blocked!” Sol squealed as he began to panic. “The front door! The roof extension on the front door has a hatch leading up to the ceiling” Mai pointed, “Okay let’s go!” Sol ran toward the front of the house, but zombies have already gathered there. “Oh crap we need to hurry!” Sol squealed, “There at the corner that’s the hatch!” Mai pointed “Okay hang on to your pet, I’ll give you a boost!” Sol pushed Mai up toward the hatch on the ceiling, “Did you get it?” Sol asked, “Yeah I got it” Mai replied, “Hup!” Mai pulled herself up the ceiling hatch but Sol got left behind. “Sol-san, quickly grab on to me!” Mai shouted as she reached out her hand, “You won’t be able to carry my weight, stay there I’ll find another way up!” Sol replied, “Damn, it’s a whole village of zombies how can I…” Sol was about to freak out when he noticed a column leading up near the ceiling hatch, “Ah! I’m saved!” and with a sudden gush of Adrenalin, He charged through the zombies clamoring toward him “UWOOOOOH!!!” he jumped up to the column and swung his arm toward the latch, then Mai grabbed hold of his hand and helped him up. “Sol-kun I’m glad you’re safe!” Mai cheerfully exclaimed as she hugged Sol. “Uwah… So soft, so warm and… Hmmm… She smells so nice… It’s the first time a girl has ever held me like this…” Sol thought as he floated away to his La-la-land. While all that commotion was happening, on the other hand, we see Yugi watching a live TV coverage of an event rarely seen on broadcast. “Tonight we are here in a northern remote town to witness this spine chilling event that happens only once every ten years, the rising of the dead” a news anchor on the TV reported, “Hey Riza-san, look at this there is a zombie fest in some remote town” Yugi exclaimed, “Leave me alone for a bit I’m pissed…” Riza groaned, “That idiot running off like that without telling me anything, when he gets back I’ll give him a piece of what’s coming to him” she continued. “Here we are atop a telecommunications tower and we see a large concentration of zombies in a certain mansion” the TV reporter continued, “This just in folks! It seems that there are still people down on that area where the zombies are gathering. We now take you to out special zoom footage and we see a guy carrying a girl and what seems to be their pet dog!” The TV screen shifted to the two figures the reporter is referring to, Yugi can’t believe the sight she was seeing on TV it was Sol, “RIZA-SAA~N!” She blurted, “IT’S SOL-KUN!! HE’S ON TV!!!” “WHAT!?” Riza was surprised to see Sol taking all the action for himself, “Get your gear ready Yugi-chan, we’re going there first thing in the morning!”

I I have already made some preliminary Character designs for Riza and Sol and I have signed them up for a CC License. All that is left is making the manga! If all goes well and I get my much awaited break I may start with this project (honestly I'm still stick with page 1 )

Before the complications of life totally took over I was able to spurt out few works that I think would have been very interesting if only I had more time to work on them. Here is the official first 2 pages of Riza's Parlor.

I though it would be funny to see Sol in the starting pages coming across a zombie who he thought was Riza. :anime:

Oh wow, some actual pages for RP! As usual, you have knocked it out of the park with these and have only whet my appetite for more.

I continue hope that life will give you a break at some point and allow you freedom to work on this again.
