So basically...raising taxes with 11% for families is eh-okay! But when rich people are going to pay taxes, zomg noes, we must cut it to at least 5%?

Oh god, I wish that I could debate with a republican american who thinks that's something that is equal and fair to everyone. Please hook me up.

 

Since Romney is in the lead lets look at his "promises." (Because I have been so far out of it. Now school started. Want to write a book. )

Jobs- "Plans on getting America back to work"
Health Care - states and private markets run health care
Foreign Policy - "last best hope of earth"

I hate how they make promises and really don't tell you how they go about doing it.

Americas economy sucks right now and I don't doubt that any countries economy that is tied to USA's does too. In history when great depression happened after the weather got better our economy went back up. Let's try and change what needs to be changed. They are to many people for one job. So we need more jobs. Also everything is raising in price. Has anyone else seen that? It effects the jobs. If products cost more then the owners won't hire more people because that costs too. So lets look at our "free" market and change it.

I hate his views on health care. Population is growing. We will lose civil liberties. Let's just give it over now. Health care is one of the most expensive out of everything (even all the unnecessary plastic surgery). It should be regulated only because people are going into debt to try and save lives. Or people die because they can't afford medical care. Surgeons work 80 hours a week at least. Hours under a knife and medical bills, I can understand why they deserve more money. Something needs to be done about this. Let Government regulate it. (Have not looked into Obamacare just yet).

I think his foreign policy is what we have been doing. Only going after those who wronged USA or asked for help. If I am wrong let me know... I think we should stay out of peoples business unless needed. It shouldn't take 10 years though.

Well, I moved out to Phoenix at the start of the year, and I'm currently working at Intel, making more money than ever before and living on my own [sans roomate(s)]. All in all, I'm doing swimmingly.

I am a snob since I hold (soon) a MS.c. in Information Technology Engineering.

It's funny looking back on this thread today given the current political climate in the United States.

 

I plan to work in the field of information/interaction design, which I am currently doing.
