Saber Marionette Ages?

    how old are some of the characters?
    how old are Lime Cherry and Bloodberry? (supposed to represent anyways)

    i think they're supposed to be 17 or like 18.

    Hanagata Mitsurugi is 17. I can't remember at the moment where that's stated, but I know it's true. From then on, I suppose it's an educated guessing game. I would place Otaru at age 18, the current Faust in his late twenties, and Lorelei in her early twenties.

    The marionettes themselves have likely been around for a century or two, but as for age, I don't think it's a factor in their representation. Rather, it's not as if they were designed to emulate a human at a certain age as much as their underlying personality.

    But if I had to make the choice, it is very easy to scale. Lime is a child (9-12), Cherry is a teen (13-17), and Bloodberry is an early adult (18-22).

    I think Otaru's 17. In one of the JtoX episodes, when he becomes a criminal in Xi'an, the news announced he's 17. I could be wrong.

    I think that Lime is 16 and Cherry is 17 and Bloodberry is maybe 18 since there is 16 & 17 :p

    Then again, you are the master of SMJ ;)

    I would say they're all 18, so is Otaru, u can easily say by their appareance...but again we would neeed some professional help lol

    I think that the saberdolls are in their early twenties (Tiger is the older one and Panther the youngest) . At least physically. In mind it's the opposite.

    Okay, I'm wrong on at least one account. I have searched out and found one official age.

    Otaru is 16. It's stated in the narrative opening of the SMJ Radio Drama which was aired on Nowachantte Say You. Now to find more ages...

    16? Isn't that too young?

    For his appearance, he seems more like 17 or 18. Notice also the apparent age of his friends. And what 16yo works on his own, because he likes it? Seems like a VERY rare species.

    About Lime, seems to me like she's 16 or 17. Regarding maturity, we get on a stumbling block. Because normal children aren't brave enough to do something on their own, yet, for example, Lime finds a job in chapter 1 of JtoX.

    She also has the courage to stand against the police on chapter 11 (or 10? The one where she protects the forest).

    So, about her "mental age" we can't really be sure, because children naturally depend on their parents when they're too young - so I say Lime's mental age can't be really calculated, since her maturity depends on numerous factors.

    If you have noticed, Lime's the one whose personality change is more aparent thru the whole series (specially J). At first she behaves like a 4 or 5yo kid "i want this, i want that!" and likes to play a lot. After she learns responsibility, she acts more like an 8 yo, to finally act as 18 or 19.

    This isn't the case with Cherry or Bloodberry, whose personalities vary very little. It's as if their age had been hardwired into their maiden circuits.

    Lime's wasn't.

    So.... hmmmm..... this is interesting, isn't it?

    So what's her age? I really don't know. I'd say 17. As for my SM90210 fic, i've given them all 16 (they're supposed to be triplets). *giggle* Lime begins feeling the hormone rage *giggle* ^_^

    Isn't she sweet?
