    Hey guys,

Several years ago I was told Akira was Korean animation. Is this so? How does Korean animation differs from your typical Japanese animation.

    Thanks,

I saw no differences so to me there are no differences except where it was made.

I was always under the impression that Akira was Japanese... I know the animation style differed from anything they'd done previously, as it revolutionized the animation industry, but other than that, yeah, I'm fairly certain it's Japanese in origin.

I admit that theres something in the style of drawing in Akira that doesn't look japanese, but i still get a feel that it is anime. It's kind of hard to explain. :dizzy:
