Anime Analysing Akito's Character

    Since I've seen the last episode, however there are many question. In what way is Akito important to the Souma family? What does the curse burden has to do with Akito?

    Does death really make a person hate others and wish fo their misery?

    it depends on what kind of person you are.
    he pushed people away and since he knew he was going to die, treated them poorly. if Tohru were the one dying, I'm sure she would still make people smile until the last moment of her life.

    maybe I should study about the Junishi...

    Why is Akito so important to the Souma family?
    He is the juunishi born with the full weight of the curse of the juunishi, this makes him the leader, and it means the others must obey him. It's all because of the Souma's curse.
    The Souma's curse is inflicted upon all the different members in different ways, that's why their pasts are so troubled. Examples are Kyou's True Form, or Ichansan's feeling of worthlessness. Akito just has the most potent of these curses, being cursed to an extremely short life.
    If you were brought up always being told you were going to die, especialy in an enviorment like the Souma household, especialy being brought up to think you were more important than everyone else, it's not suprising that he's the way he is.

    Another Rooster(I think he's the rooster junishi, not too sure though) will be born with the same curse, I reckon anyway.

    hmm.. I should animate Tohru 'huggling' Akito... hmmm... we didnt see the giraffe either.. who was the sheep?

    The horse and rooster junishi were not revealed in the series. I believe Hiro was the sheep.
    Hmm, I would like to see that Touru huggling Akito...

    Akito must be the rooster, if a rooster is not mentioned. The horse is 'Rin' a female who is around the same age as Kagura, 19-ish.. but then, Akito bears the whole weight of the juunishi curse upon him, and looks after the '13' so.. I'm not sure, perhaps the mange will reveal who the rooster is???

    in the anime, Tohru didnt hug Akito, right?

    Kagura is 19-ish? I wouldn't think so. I'd judge her closer to around 14. I suspect Akito is the rooster because he always seems to have birds around him, as the animals of each souma's junishi are usualy attracted to them. I however know nothing of Rin.
    Touru doesn't hug Akito in the anime, no.
