Cosplay and Conventions Anime North 2004!

    Is anybody besides me going to it. Its in Toronto of course and I thought it would be cool for people from m2a to meet up (don't worry i'm not a weird killer). Maybe we can make badges or something to identify each other.

    It starts next Friday and I hope to see you.

    AAHHH! *jumps up and down* i was wondering if anything about Anime North will be mentioned any time soon!!! i'm going:) it's going to be my first time too. i'm also cosplaying as InuYasha...hopefully hanyou InuYasha if my white wig comes in the mail in time, if not, human InuYasha:( so a meet up eh? when, where? i bought the meet and greet tickets *to see the guests in person* so if anyone bought those tickets, lemme know!!!

    I considered it for a while, but then my placement got in the way. Don't worry, you can all visit me at work and bask in my radiant glow and give me souvineers from the con.

    I'll be in the lobby of the place on Saturday at around 2:00. I'll be cosplaying as Alucard from Hellsing if any of you want to meet.

    I won't be posting here for three glorious days. yay. Hopefully I won't get lost and get confused as to where the events are. I think it's neat we have the Convention center as well as the hotel for events and such. I'm going as Tsunade so. your Alucard from Hellsing Raven? hmm.. if I don't see you have fun at the con!

    Nope, but i DID see the pimp Miroku cosplayer. Lol, he was cool. i also like the person who dressed up in a sidekick's bag, like int he commercial. that was awsome.

    the masquerade was awesome lol.. but I did take off before the end. that damn female announcer.. ARRRGHHH!!!

    anyways, here's a few pics
    #1 for those who went to AN, guess when this happened? and the Blue haired wig is Rei.. hehe!
    #2 At noon on Saturday there was a Naruto cosplay shoot. It was crazy! The cosplayers just kept on coming!! I'm on the left somewhere hehe.
    #3 This was embarassing. I should have at least gotten 2 of the songs, but I kind of froze during the 'guess the anime theme' game.
    #4 And the Con wouldn't have been the same without our very own happy Venus walking around. At least he can wear high heels.. he has the legs for it..

    the end. well at least for now. I'll hit the Naruto forum with cosplay pics later.

    ha ha, sounds like you you had fun:p what was up with all the Naruto cosplayers? they were EVERYWHERE! i heard an anti-Naruto group even formed,lol. and you got a pic of Dani *sailor venus* i loved the outfit. well here's some of my pics then...

    The second pic is awesome! I couldnt get close to taeka pic like that. I did see them loafing around but not with the sidekick lol. that skit was awesome. I didn;t see that Vash anywhere either, did he enter the masquerade later on? and I saw so many Inu Yasha's they were all cool though. Too bad the weather was so bad. and the shuttles were late .. oh well I spent a ton of cash and had a blast.

    I loved their skit too. i'm also hooked on the song they used from Chicago. i don't know if the Vash entered the masquerade, but i think he did from what i heard. i didn't get to go to the masquerade because i had to find my way to the Greyhound terminal to have my long ride home. i took a greyhound both there and back from Toronto each day, ugh. i heard too that he won some award for his costume. i'm surprised you didn't see him, he seemed to be around the place. he's amazing nonetheless:D

    i had to go home in the rain both saturday and sunday *shakes fist* damn rain. i got a bad fever from it. i REALLY wanted to ride the shuttle bus, but i never ended up doing so...aww, was it fun?

    the fun part was walking back and forth from the Hotel to the Toronto Convention Center in high heel shoes for my cosplay. I got 2 nasty blisters that opened on each foot lol. oh I also saw StrongBad in his Bee costume.. lol. and I saw Domo once. A funny thing about the cosplays.. when we were in line for the masquerade, two guys working as guards were dressed up as Klingons.. one for some reason was green? anyways the green one was yelling at the late comers to stay back since they kept telling everyone after our line that 'it was hopeless' .. imagine going to a line and a Klingon pushing you back saying 'IT IS HOPELESS!' well anyways.. there were a few losers who were alone who would sneak up behind the people in line and get ahead of them.. I gave mine a bad look. He freaked out his eyes went crazy left to right and he said 'what?'.. lol. we then blocked him off. mwa ha ha.. the shuttle was crap. I hear next year the convention will be at the hotel across the street from the TCC. that crazy tall and narrow one.. tree something. sounds good. Bring cash, not credit since the dealers can rip you off. I got a damn defective DVD from anime pavilion. I emailed them. If they treat me like crap I'm telling people not to buy dvds from them.. they treated me poorly at the con and every year I have bought tons of stuff from them.. wow I wrote a lot.

    OMG OMG OMG OMG That girl cosplaying as Rei is my best friend Alyssa! I am sitting in the very next seat to her right! I didn't have my hat on because it was to big. But yeah I'm almost in that first picture.
