    Sorry for the late notice....
Anyway, a few of us are going to watch some anime in Trinity College tomorrow at around 2:30.

So we should meet at 2:30 at the stairs of the entrance to the Hamilton, as seen in the second picture here:

    http://matrix.netsoc.tcd.ie/~rwc/map/

We'll probably be watching Gundam, altough we are open to suggestions...

My mobile phone number is 087 6411458

I think Mordeth and Ascot will be there for sure, and hopefully some other people, too.

Damn straight! I will bring the Gundam movies and the 08th MS Team Video CDs ^_^.

I will describe myself shortly so you can recognize me. I have small glasses, dark curly hair, blue jeans and light brown bag. I will probably be wearing a shirt that says "Argentina" in it cuz tomorrow we play against England.

you love your country enough to wear a shirt with their name when they are playing, but you go to a college in dublin to watch anime instead of watching them play

    :)

well the day was a rowsing (that's a word right?) success. first we couldn't book a lecture theatre, so we went to the sci-fi soc room where they had a large screen TV and dvd player..

we watched one of the kenshin ova's there, and then proceeded to a comp lab for the rest of the evening where we watched

    a gundam movie
    some .hack//sign
some full metal panic (fuppin brilliant!)

we also spent a few minutes watching jap pop videos and other assorted bric-a-brac :)

    did I miss anythin fellas?

No that's everything, just about. Full Metal Panic was fuppin brilliant. But goddammit after watching those j-pop videos I thiink I'm starting to develop something of an obsession. I just order the special edition of Matsuura Aya's album!!!

Bastards! you shouldn't have shown me those videos. Ah but they were so nice.

Oh and who can forget Star Trek in german. Chief O'Brien???

Yeah that was a pretty cool day... we should do it again soon :)
    LOL
Aya Matsuura claims yet another victim :)
You better share the album when you get it!!

Also, we exchanged some anime at the end of the day... I'm not sure what happened, but they took about 25 CDs from me :)

Yeah, it was a great day. Maybe next time, as I think I mentioned earlier, if we got the use of the big screen we could hook up a PS2 and have a few games of VF4 or something in between watching anime.

    And don't worry I'll share.

Mordeath, I ordered mine through ebay for $25 dollars. There is another version on ebay for $19.99 that comes with a 2002 calender, some photos of Matsuura Aya and a few other things. If you want to check it out here's the link.

A bit of both I am afraid!

I still can't understand everyone's obsession with these j-pop artists... *shrugs*

I mean, rock bands I can understand, but that girl is freaky and... um... freaky. Also corny, but that's besides the point, half the stuff that is anime is corny anyway.

I still haven't gotten around to watching more FMP or Final Fantasy Unlimited, but I will very soon. It's just that I had to finish episodes 1 to 4 of both Fruits Basket and Angelic Layer, and I did yesterday.

By the way, both of those series OWN.

    FMP suks ***.
It's the most generic pile of crap I've seen in ages.
Try to get Rahxephon if you want some decent new anime.

    What Mordeth said.

XCR, I don't think Full Metal Panic is generic. Sure, it has a lot of cliches, but it plays on them perfectly. And this IS experience talking. I have seen some generic crap lately that I don't like.

You want generic? Try VANDREAD. That show is alright, but it has more stereotypes than I can remember. FMP on the other hand is much more interesting. AND hilarious.

I got another show which is good and generic, Angelic Layer. What makes it cool is it's kawaii value :p

I know, I saw a few episodes of Vandread recently, it's total shite.
It's just a big load of fan service wrapped up in a crappy story with some awful mech designs.

I've yet to see any anime I'd describe as hilarious, and I very much doubt it'll ever happen.

    Try these two:
    Fruits Basket
Revolutionnary Girl Utena (every 5 episodes there is one that is pure comedy, and they are the BEST)
