    I was wondering if something happened to your parential figure, god forbid anything did happen, are you able to take care of them, right now?

    Parential figure someone who takes care of you or did.

    I have moved out and I am on my own. But if something did happen to my parents I could kind of. I am lucky I have two other sisters to help. My little brother wouldn't be able to just the way he is. My dad has government insurance so that would make things easier. My mother doesn't have any. I think I need to talk to her about this.

    You don't need to dwell on this. I was just wondering because something happpened to my friends parent.

    My mother has cancer, so when it gets to the point where she can't function by herself i take care of her. doing things for her, helping her get places, i've driven her to the hospital twice, and make meals. all while taking care of my nephew.

    lifes a pain sometimes.

    If something happend to my parent's, God forbid, I hope I can take care of them.

    2 years ago, my dad got problems in his back that he couldn't walk nor drive for quite a while. My mom shouldn't drive alot because she has weak bones. At that time I was the only one who is able to drive. But even though, my mom was driving because I just got my license and I don't know where to go. Plus, the car I was driving was very small and my dad's back was very sensitive, I couldn't drive any other car as well. But I was there with them to learn how to help more in the future..

    I voted "No way" a little too quickly and missed the "I could with help."
    Maybe I could with help, but I guess it's more of a "No way."
    I don't have a job, a car, or anything like that, so I wouldn't be able to do it.

    I coudn't I don't have the finactial needs
    and they wouldn't let me take time out of school to help them either
    mom barly graduated and dad still doesn't have his GED
    even though they own a sucessfull buisness my dad still wants his GED
    he got into disel mechancals and cooking schol witout it so it's not an end all

    and I live a ferry ride away too
