Saber Marionette Au Smj?

Ardis mentioned something about an interview with Akahori Satoru on the J Again DVDs where he mentioned wanting to do an Alternate Universe (AU) SMJ series or manga project. What would you like to see on an AU SMJ? Or what do you think it would be like?

Lady, you have it wrong. It was on the Saber Marionette J DVDS, not the SMJ Again. As far as I know, Bandai released three SMJ, and one SMJ Again DVDs. What I’m talking about was on the third DVD set of SMJ, on the first DVD, where you can access an interview with the creator of SMJ (Satoru Akahori), along with the four main female Voice Actors of SMJ (Megumi Hayashibara, Yuri Shiratori, Akiko Hiramatsu, Yuka Imai). Having watched it again. What he said was,” With fans support I hope we can make some more episodes in a different form" This taping of him may have been before SMJ came out on TV or it could be after SMJ came out, probably after.

 

One question, Ardis, are the SMJ DVDs with the interviews thr original Japanese DVDs?? Cuz the American version, I don't recall any interviews.

 

No, this is on the American DVDS. Theres a small trick to getting access to the little interview.

I can give a general way to access it, I did this on my PS2...
Take DVD disk one of the third DVD set and play it. After you hit the DVD menu (the maiden circuit screen) highlight play and activate that. After the first episode starts, go back to the DVD menu while it is playing and key (or what ever you use to select the various options) around, you should find that (if you go left after episode select or go right after the play option) it will high light the second smaller LED (When the red light is highlighted it turns sort of orange) on the maiden circuit in the Upper right hand corner. Activate this and it will give you the "interview"

If you have a PS2 it works fairly easy, I can't say how well or easy it will be with a software decoder or hardware decoder.

The Interview is entitled, Japoness News or something like that

Anyway..if there WAS a movie or another series of SM...I guess it should have all the marionettes with a guy (i.e. Otaru and Lime...Cherry and Akashi)....and with little marionette kids ^^ AWWW! ts weird, the marionettes you see in all the series are all around the same age...no youngens
