Inu-Yasha Best Clothes

I was wondering why there weren't many original topics in the Inuyasha forum.Then I thought about how many female Inuyasha fans there are.Then I thought about how much girls think about clothes.So I put all of that together,and I made this thread.

If I had to pick,I'd be torn between Kagome,Sango,and Yura.You can never go wrong with a schoolgirl uniform,tight black uniform,or little black dress.:bleed: Although Inuyasha's red outfit is cool in it's own way.

 

I like Inuyasha's, just cus its a cool robe thing and its the coolest in the series.

 

I like Sessh's the best. All that wite with the nice red pattern, the yellow and blue obi, the armor, the boots.... And his tail makes a nice touch too. And he can still fight in it!

 

Sesshy has a tail??! :blush: i thought it was a little feather thing-a-ma-bob . i like sessh's outfit the best also, but inuyasha's is cool too. i can't decide.

 

Yes, it's a tail. Rumiko Takahashi confirmed it in an interview. Besides, you can tell it's made of fur, not feathers, anyway.

 

No, it doesn't look anything like feathers. you learn something everyday! anyway, i decided i liked sessh's outfit the best. i think it looks cool with all of the designs on it. and the tail makes an awsome finishing touch!

 

I like Fluffy's outfit. Followed by Koga's outfit. (Dont look at me like that, its cool.) Then Sango's.

I didn't feel like making a new post. Well, I was wondering. Fluffy has a lot of clothes, right? Well, when his clothes get wet, do you think they're heavy. (For a human, we all know that Fluffy probably wouldn't notice...)

 

I knew Sesshoumaru would be winning. Personall I love Inuyasha's kimono (though some people also call it a yukata and then I get confused. Don't yukata's weigh less and have less to them?) But I love how it has a snap to it like if you move your wrist or arm really fast it'll be likely to snap. I just love it for more reasons but there are too many to post. ^_^

 

I believe the correct word for Inuyasha's robe is a gi. Yukata, if I remember correctly, are summer kimonos, not mens' short kimonos. ^_^

 

I like Inu yasha's robe best. Cool looking, probably comfortable, and practical. ^_^ If i had to choose one that I would wear....I'd probably wear.........hmmmm....probably Sango's

Sango, without a doubt. Her hunter costume is very unique and cute. Plus, she wears a pretty dress as well.

 

I like Inuyashas outfit the best. The fire rat gi. I like how it can protect him and always goes back to shape.

 

I really love the way Sesshoumaru's clothes are. I also like the big fluffy tail he has on his shoulder.

They're so pretty and have nice colors.

Actually, Inu Yasha wears a Kariginu (top) and Sashinuki (bottoms). The off-white top he wears under the Kariginu is called a Hadajuban. It's amazing what you can find on the internet.

As a side note did you know that "Kimono" actually means "Things to wear"? It's only since the Meiji Restoration, that it has come to mean a specific style of clothing which wraps around the body and has dropped sleeves. When the Americans came to Japan they asked (pointing at someone in a "Kimono") "What do you call that?" Not understanding just what the Gaiijin were asking, the Japanese answered "Kimono..?" And so "Kimono" gained it's modern word-use.

Oh, and I like Sesshoumaru's outfit. It's just so beautiful. He has quite the fashion sense for an androginous-fem-boy-who-isn't-gay.
