Anime Bleeding nose

Now i know that i've seen this question up somewhere here in the past, but can't remember what it said. So im going to ask it again because i need to know So, why does the nose bleed in ppl in anime sometimes? i mean...whats the point, i don't get it.

Generally it's when the character is getting turned on, and it's usually used as a gag. It happens most often with male characters, although I have seen one or two female characters that will get nosebleeds.

basically whenever a girl (accidentally or not) flahses her chest at a guy.

 

When the guys like master rOShi get turned on be a piar of b**bs

 

There's an old Japanese saying that says that if a young man is not sexually satisfied,it will result in frequent nosebleeds.So seeing as how anime is often packed with scantily clad girls,nose bleeds shall occur often.

 

Example:

In the Naruto anime/manga, Naruto has a move called the Ninja Centerfold where he turns into a completely naked woman. He uses this on his teacher and his teacher gets a nose bleed. [end of example]. From this, i think it is when someone sees a good looking naked woman.
