Anime Burn Up W/Excess

    Does anyone here watch Burn Up W or Burn Up Excess?I mention this series all the time,but no one else ever does.Has anyone seen it?Do you like it,or don't you?I think Burn Up W is superior to Excess.This is because the storyline is more original,and it has a perfect mix of action and comedy.Excess,on the other hand,is a lot more heavy on comedy than W.If you haven't seen it,you should.It's great.Start with Burn Up W,though.It'll be easier to handle Excess if you do.Burn Up W is a 4 episode mini series,and Burn Up Excess is a TV series.

    I've watched Burn Up W. I liked it. Very male oriented, as Ryo was hilarious. Especially when she's talking to the police chief. Maya is my favorite though. Sexy AND a sniper. Heehee. And Malvel's mech looked disturbingly like Unit-01. Oh well. I still haven't watched Excess though.

    Wow,Maya's my favorite,too!I think the robot was meant to be an Evangelion spoof.

    i saw about 4 episodes of W.
    hahaha. and yeah, lol. it was real funny.
    i wanna watch the whoile series, but i can only find the 1st dvd, none other.
    pisses me off.
    oh well. ill look harder.

    It's not bad, although almost all the time you'll see moving breasts and a pervert police companion. I've never understood the real plot of the series.

    Maya is my favourite character.

    Yeah,there are a lot of big boobs in the series.If you don't mind 'em though,the series is friggin' hilarious.And,yeah,Yuji IS
    the typical perv character that likes to show up alot in anime.He's alot more funny than most of them.The plot of the series is pretty much just the random adventures of a police squad.

    Does anyone know of a place that has the original Burn Up for sale.I've already tried all the stores and search engines to try and find it.All that ever comes up is Burn Up W,or Excess,though.
    My local Blockbuster had an ancient VHS copy of it.I dusted it off and rented it.It was made in like 1989 or something.I keep waiting for them to sell it or something,so I can buy it.ADV could do a dubbed release of it.Only the subbed version exists.I really need help,here!Anyone?!

    Yhea I like this anime alot and the women turn me on. The comedy is very male oriented but hey as long as it's funny hehehehe... yhea baby;)

    Oh man,Neph!You gotta see this!You won't be dissappointed!With YOUR sense of humor,this is right up your alley.You have to watch the dubbed version too.The dub is fairly good.This is one case where added dialogue is a GOOD thing.Hilarious bits of American pop culture and scattered throughout.The voice actors are top-notch(Excess is another story).This one will most likly top your favorites list,just as it did mine.Don't hesistate!Go now!

    Yay! This is one of my favorite anime series of all time its got everything (all bet it very male orientated) guns, laughs an women. I collected all of the DVDs but could never fond the original Burn up except on VHS still I ll have to pick it up when I get a chance. But I ve been told that the characters from Exccess and W werent in the original. Still it ll be worth having to complete the collection.
