Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that i am making some inuyasha ears and a necklace! I've seen some inu-Yasha ears on e-bay and they were pretty bad, i'll try to make my ears look as doglike as ever! I already made a metal frame for it and all my friends think it looks great. When i am done making them, i'll put some pictures. What do you guys think of me making these lil accessories? Is it a good idea or what? Please let me know! I think i'll sell it on e-bay, i don't know...Okay, i'll be back later! Bye!! :D

I wish I could do that. That is a good idea. And you should sell it on e-bay.

^_^ That sounds like a great idea. Where're you cosplaying at? If you're at Anime Expo this summer, you might run into me in my Sesshoumaru costume.

Heheh. That reminds me of the idea I had to make and sell Inuyasha necklaces on eBay. Wonder if I'll ever get around to it....

    Whats up!

Heyyy thanks everyone for wishing me luck! :D Kagome_rocks009, you can do it but it is kinda hard. You need a bit of materials and it takes up a lot of your time!!!!! I spent 2 hours making the metal frames trying to make them look as doglike as I can possibly make them. Kogarashi, I was going to go to the anime expo in Anaheim and this would of been my first time going, but i can't go :(. I don't have any money and i can't get a job right now, cause i'm only 15...dope! At first, I thought I was going to go and I decided i would dress up as Inu-Yasha, even though he's a guy. I then told my friend about Inu-Yasha, she fell in love with him, and now she's going to dress like him, so i was then going to go as Sango. Your going as Sesshoumaru? Thats so cool!!! I wish i was going so i could see you ^_^!!!!!!! LOL, i got the idea to make the ears/necklace from ebay because people really wanted them...

Yeah! Of course people really want them. Even I do. Oh, the cute doggy ears. :D I would love to see them in stores. But I live in Los Angeles, so that might really take a while. :(

::chuckle:: You could probably fund a trip to Anime Expo by making and selling Inuyasha stuff online (but not bootlegs). I get spare money by selling prints (ebay handle celestial_drachen).

If you do get a chance to go, you'll probably see me (on the day we do the Saiyuki cosplay) with the group with the green powerwheels jeep and the giant pillar. ^_^ That's what we went to Otakon as.

Hello everyone, sorry for taking a long time to reply! So, lets see, I put the cloth on my inu-yasha ears. I think that i got inu-yasha's ear color wrong, is it gray or white? As for the necklace, I already ordered some beads that i think look just like the same thing, well kinda :D! I attached a file, so check it out and tell me what ya think, okay!Kagome_rocks009, that would be so koo if the ears came out in store , but then I'd be out of business :p ! Kogarashi, that sounds like a great idea by selling inuyasha stuff, but i don't think i could get that much money to go to the expo :(. If i do go, which i really, really doubt, i'll look for your group ^_^!
Inu-Girl, i hope i can see you at the expo and i bet it will be a lot of fun. Yamigirl, I was thinking about selling one pair of inu-yasha ears and one necklace, but if people really like them, i'll make more! LOL, i have no talent, anyone could do it if ya put your mind to it! Thanks for thinking its koo that i'm doing this :D!

^_^ You'd be surprised how much they'd go for. Saw a full Inuyasha costume once going for about $400. ::shrug:: As for Inu-kun's ears, they're white, to match his hair (which is also white, despite how the lighting makes it look). I can't wait to see a picture of how this'll look when you've got it done.

Wow your doing a great job. Keep up the good work. I think they were more like a silver color not grey. But it probably looks just as good. I think it's soooo cooool!!!!! I'm not kidding. I like it alot.

Wow! I'm really impressed. I really like what you've done. Like Kogarashi said, I can't wait to see a picture of how this'll look when you've finished it. And like Yamigirl said, keep up the good work. Also, I agree with Kogarashi about the color of Inuyasha's ears.

Haha, that's not the necklace I made, those are the beads that I'm going to use to make my necklace:p! I just sent the money order for the beads two days ago! I just wanted to see if you guys thought the beads looked like inu-yasha's necklace! As for the fangs, I was thinking about making them out of clay, but LOL, I actually thought about using real shark teeth for them, but changed my mine!!! As for the ears, I think I’ll take a picture of the ears, well ear cause I only put the cloth on one, tomorrow to show you guys!!! The thing is I don't have a camera to plug into the computer but my friend does so I’ll go to his house :)! That’s if my mom lets me.... Okay, first of all, the pic. that I might show you won't be the real thing that I would sell, its like a sample...I dunno. The thing is, I don’t really like the fabric, it’s too fuzzy and I don't really like the color. Then, in the back of the ear, you can see that it was sewed together, like it kind of bulges out, so I need a sewing machine so it can look better. As for the bottom of it, I still haven't put anything, but I need something that will attach to the hair. I was thinking about using hair clips. I'm so glad you guys approve of this, you guys are the best!!!! :D

^_^ I understand that pic was just to show the beads, and yes, they look like the ones on his necklace.

For the ears...perhaps if you got a white headband (or a clot-covered metal headband and stripped the cloth off of it) and used that to attach the ears to the head? Then they shouldn't flop as much, and would be easy to remove and put back on.

Cosplay tip (not that I think anyone here needs it): Don't wear Inuyasha's ears if you don't have the white hair/wig to go with it. I saw someone at Otakon with dark hair wearing the ears anyway. He (yes, it was a guy) should've stuck with human Inuyasha for his costume if he didn't have a wig.

    Inu-Yasha Ear Pictures

Howdy everyone! Hey, thats a great idea Kogarashi, i'll have to think about that! LOL, yeah, you should wear a wig with the ears cause then you'd look kind-of strange :p! Oh, well here's the pics. of the ear! Please tell me what you guys think, it means a lot to me :) ! If there is anything that you don't like or something you suggest tell me!!! As you can see in the pictures, my wonderful friends put the ear on their head, look how great they look :p!!! Well there ya go, I am going to put pink cloth in the middle of the ear later on!!

Hm... ::ponders ear and response for a moment:: Color looks fairly good from the photos (though a bit hard to tell) Doesn't look too fuzzy, compared to "official" ears I've seen on eBay, though if I personally were to make a pair of ears, I'd probably try to use the fuzzy-felty stuff they used on my Inuyasha plushie. Adding pink to it sounds good. As for the shape, I think it might be a tad too long, but other than that, you've got a good dog-ear shape there. ^_^ ::looks forward to seeing the completely finished product::
