Anime DBZ/Naruto

Is the creator of DBZ the same creator of Naruto?

 

At first I wondered if Akira Toriyama created or helped to create Naruto. The style of it seems similar to Dragonball almost. But, Masashi Kishimoto is the man behind Naruto. Check the interview below too, I guess he was a bit inspired by Dragonball ^_^

AH,...i first wnadered cos of the long spread senarios and the fact that Naruto has the whole orange n blue outfit like Goku, but thats running on very little evidence!
