Anime Digimon vs Pokemon

Amen to that. The Digimon are definatley cooler looking and are aimed at a little more mature audience than Poke'mon is.

 

I third this. Digimon was and is way better than Pokemon.

 

I was always a Pokemon person. Back when it was "all the rage," my friends and I used to rant and rant about how Pokemon came first and was way better... (which to this day I'm not even sure is true.)
I liked the creature designs for Pokemon better. And I think the games are a lot of fun, something you don't have with Digimon. (Yes, there were VG's of sorts, but not anything like the original Pokemon Red and Blue games for gameboy.) Those could keep you entertained for hours.
The "mature audience" thing with Digimon probably never appealed to me because I was younger when all this stuff came out. Yeah, I was a kid, and the cheesier the better when you're little.

I still have a truckload of pokemon cards, somewhere...

 

I saw Pokemon first. Back then, it was the most popular thing. MY favorite season is still the first one. But between, I have to choose Digimon. Its so much better. BUt I hate the way they're doing the 5th season. Kinda pisses me off.

 

How is it that ash has had pikachu with him for how long and yet they still struggle with battles.... That electric rat should be level 100 by now...
I liked digimon better... probably because Garurumon was a wolf, oh and maybe because there bad guys weren't so completely annoying and pathetic.

 

Hmmm... I actually like 'em both... well.... drat, cuz, i only liked the 1st season of digimon, the others... i just din't like at all...

True true. I'd have to say Pokemon as well, I liked it a lot back then.

Digimon seems just as plain to me, I didn't see the deep storyline so many of you mention... oh well, maybe I just saw the wrong season/s

 

I like both. My son likes pokemon it helps when I need to get stuff done. I liked playing the game. Moment time from digimon is what I use a lot with my son.

I also the gameboy games of pokemon and i have the pokemon marbels don't now why
but I would go for digimon it seemd better

 

I like them both, actually. I never watched Pokemon, but I collected the cards.
