Recreation Do You Recycle?

I think it is very important to recycle. It isn't a waste of time and why don't they have people going through rubbish to recycle things? Hey theres some good paying jobs for homeless/jobless people. That would be interesting i think.
Some of the trash we have i use it for stuff like cans for potting plants (plant nerd) pen cans or whatever else I have around here. Anywho you aren't evil if you don't. Why do you or don't you? To recycle or not to recycle? Which way is it?

 

Yes, i've been recycling for years.

it's just because my family has always done it so why stop now.

 

I do, in my own ways. I segregate, sell very old newspapers to any junk shop nearby, do the compost pit thing, et cetera. Although I ask for help most of the time, since I couldn't possibly carry those heavy loads.

 

I recycle everything i can, and try to use only as much gas, electricity and water as i need. Where i live is really good for recycling because they hand out brown sacks for compost and black boxes for cans, glass and papers, then come and collect them at the end of the week.

 

Sadly, not that much. I dunno, I never really think about it. >_<

I can't really because I live in apartment building. My family did though. I think I may recycle cans again.

 

We recycle newpapers, papers in general, cans, and plastic.

 

actually recycling is not really that great a solution. it really doesn't solve any problems, cause it takes so much energy and infrastructure to recycle stuff. most 'hard-core' environmentalists agree that re-use is the only solution that solves the problem. (though who's gonna take a milk bottle full of water with them when they go out?.)
i do recycle though. we've got 2 council provided bins here, one for regular trash, and one for recyclables.
