I have heard from one of my friends who read up on one of the later epis of Inuyasha. And they said that around the 200th episode inuyasha dies and the series continues with out him. Is this true?!

...WHY do you put a possible spoiler into a title?! Why not put "Question about post ep-200 episodes?" or look up spoilers somewhere?!

That's highly unlikely, if you want my two cents. If Inuyasha died, people on the net would know by now. Word spreads fast and fanfiction communites, shrines, and even this forum would be affected. The Inuyasha manga hasn't been completed yet, and the anime episodes haven't even caught up with the manga. Yes, there's a strong possibility that Inuyasha COULD die at the end, but he hasn't kicked the bucket yet!

Aside from that, how do you plan to continue the rest of the series without Inuyasha? Sure, it would make sense if he died in the final battle, but he needs to stay alive until then. Though the main character is arguably Kagome, the entire story sort of circles around both her and Inuyasha, and without him we'd lose a lot of tension and character dynamics.

this is not true!! InuYasha is alive :anger2:!! the InuYasha TV series is only up to episode 146 anyway. there isn't a 200th epsiode yet. Unless, you meant the manga, but from what i know he is ALIVE! i'm not even sure the manga even goes up to a 200th episode. sorry, but hearing InuYasha is dead is not my cup of tea. and i do have to agree with Kagomes Arrow...the series just couldn't go on well without InuYasha there.

he's not dead....he's alive and barking well and eating instant noodles

    I herad that too????

Yeah I heard something like that too . . . but it won't make any sense calling the series InuYasha anymore if they continue without the guy name InuYasha . . . Naw, I don't think he'll die . . .

how would u even find out something like that would happen at ep 200. they havent even shown that many episodes on TV in japan yet. theres still quite a ways to go to get to that point. its probably some guy playing a practical joke on all the InuYasha fans out there trying to scare us.

Changed the thread title for you.

It's very unlikely that Inuyasha will die in the series, except possibly at the end. Why? Because he's the title character. The series is named after him, therefore it's highly unlikely that the series can continue without him.

for reals! what would they do then? rename the show Kagome and Co.? i doubt he will die untill possibly the very last episode, but i highly doubt that. right now i just want to see if he can defeat ryukotsusei.
