I started working in Woodies 2 weeks ago. I wanted to get away from home for the summer, because i would have been sitting on my arse doing nothing if i did. Its very hard to find a job back home; small town.
Anyhow i'm just glad to be in Clonmel for the summer. There's just something about the town that i like.
One thing i noticed is that most people seem to mind their own business up ere. Its different back home, for a small town, everyone knows u. I always seem to bump into and old person that i dont know, when i go into Kanturk town (but they know me) and ask "How ar u keepin?", "Hows your Mum and Dad?" "I heard that so and so did this and so and so did that." Bla bla bla bla. . . . . and they keep ya for a bout 20 mins at the side of the road, when ya want to do nothing but get away from them. Its like i get no privacy in that town. Its weird. I love old people but sometimes they can be annoying.
I love working in Woodies! I've been working 4 days a week for the past 2 weeks now. With Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays off. I'm working five days a week now, for the rest of the summer.
Only less than a month away from my birthday now and i still dont know what to do for it. I'm gonna hate turning 20, it just doesnt feel like i am.
