Can you remember any guest appearances in anime?Do you have any favorites? My favorite is the Tenchi Muyo/Burn Up W guest appearance. In one of the Tenchi In Tokyo episodes, there's a split second shot of Rio and Yuji on a bridge.I freaked out!I'm like in love with Burn Up W!Also,Ryo Ohki appeared in the corner of a message that Yuji delivered to Maya in BUX(Burn Up Excess). This is probably because some of the animators from TM worked on Burn Up W.

Hmmmm I cant name a "guest appearance" but there was an issue of Love Hina where Keitaro was acting all down and Naru yelled at him saying, "Don't go all Shinji on me!" It cracked me up!

Oh and I think there was also a reference to the Negaverse in Love Hina.

I'm PRETTY sure that Tedz knows this...but, in one chapter (a SINGLE ONE!!! NOT MANY, ONE!) of the Aa Megamisama manga has: Mario, a sailormoon plushie, Zangief, and I think Dr. Wily. One FREAKING chapter! It was when Skuld grew into her powers, if you need reference.

Gundam tech drawings made an appearance in Fooly Cooly. When Naota's dad was talking about the Gundam Hammer.

Other than that, I don't notice much.

However, I thought you might find this interesting. In the original Bubblegum Crisis, episode 1, I believe. There's a scene where Nene is looking at maps of MegaTokyo. As it happens, all the places were named after the pilots and copilots (and I believe even Charlie) in Top Gun. ^_^ Of course, only I'd notice that...

There was reference to Newtypes in the Love Hina manga as well. When Keitaro passed a test,he claimed he was a newtype.
