Anime GunXSword

For all those Trigun/Bebop lovers out there!

GunXSword is about a man named Van that wears a swallowtail outfit. Some people call him Van the Nice Guy, others call him Van the Weird Guy that Helped Out. He has many names.

Van is searching for a mysterious clawed man who killed his Bride. In the first episode, he ends up getting a tag-along sidekick, a pretty girl named Wendy.

The anime is set as a form of Western with a mecha flare. Some enemies and allies are armor pilots, like Van.

The intro theme song and animation is very cool and unique. I believe they may use the same song and layout throughout the entire animation: All the major characters that we will meet throughout the anime appear in the first episode intro, yet they are in a bluey shadow. When the character is finally introduced, the intro animation is updated to reveal that character.

Anyways, I've seen 8 episodes. The 2nd episode was a tad weird, but the show is getting more interesting, and I do enjoy the action scenes where Van fights. Well.. maybe some of you would think it's just another cheesy mecha show with humour..

There's no reason why I shouldn't let people know about it, so they can rent it or buy it when it comes out on DVD.. oh geneon.. why can't they wait til a show is done being fansubbed.

I want to do some Van fanart or make a cosplay outfit..
