Video Games Hardcore gaming

    what games have you ever hard core with? and i mean, go all the way thru without any saves what so ever. or breaks...*^-^* being as i have the nes working again, i'm planing on playing zelda, the first one, all the way hardcore....even thru the second time thru if i can lol

    anyone else have much free time to do silly things like this?*^-^*

    I played through all of thief 1 and 2 without killing or knocking out a single person..and no quick saving. :D

    Tried to get through it without being spotted at all...impossible methinks.

    laws, Kairo. That's impressive. I've started playing Deus Ex through nonlethally (cept for three cases where it isn't possible), but with saves..

    I could play through Commander Keen and original wolfenstein without saves..

    The closest I've come lately: today I beat Minesweeper on expert without using the flags haha go me.

    Well, for people who like doing that to themselves and their blood pressure, Operation Flashpoint is like that (I know there are others) 1 save per mission.. unless one knows how to cheat and get unlimited (as I do cause I value my cardiac system hehe)

    My hardcore game? MegaMan 3. I could beat that game with no passwords and no lives used. I used to play it that much. *sigh*

    I beat Super Metroid once, just ONCE, with an all day game and one save. I ain't EVER gonna do that again...the bosses are enough to give you heartattacks.

    And I played through a whole 2 hours of endurance race at Monaco in Gran Turismo 3, if that counts. :sweat2:

    Oh, and MGS2 with no kills, all the tags, no continues, and no saves on normal mode. I doubt I could do it again though, or on anything harder...*sigh*.

    Hmmmm...DDR nonstop for 10 hours (Followed by a trip to the hospital.)

    FF7 for two days straight,

    FF9 for a day straight (beat it)

    I used to play Super Smash Brothers religiously for like 5 hours at a time...

    I played MM3 alot, but nowhere close to Izzy,

    And Zelda, i played striaght till i beat both the normal and uber quests.

    [PS] I almost forgot my massive StarCraft campaigns! 4 hours to make, 3 to beat! [/PS]

    what is it?!

    well the game that i was hard core with was star ocean 2 and i mean crazy i finished the game in 10 hours i played all day i locked myself in my room and played untill my head explode :dizzy2:
    *grins* LOL anyway i also went crazy with final fantasy adventure for game boy now that was fun too.:sweat: yeah well a lot are fun but only some are HARD CORE :cool:

    Me and my brother tend to try and beat any Survival Horror game with the usual requirements that get you special items. Low time, no saves, few healing items, etc. My hardcore games, though, are Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. Also sort of Ogre Battle. ^^ I remember trying to beat every level with a group of Doll Mage/Masters. I ended up playing Tactics Ogre one weekend I played for six, seven hours, took a five minute break, went back, another six or so, and it went on like that until it was three in the morning and I realized three more hours and I needed to get up for school.

    When I can get the time in...

    Alpha Centauri
    Master of Orion 2
    Rogue Leader
    Silent Scope (multiple games straight as story mode only goes for about 12 minutes)
    Hour upon hour of Super Smash Brothers Melee

    are there more? Oh, hell yes. But I'm just talking about recent hardcore sessions.

    Pffft, have you all beaten. Real time 24 hour race in Le Mans 24 Hour. Pausing a total of 11 times for food/urination

    I played Tony Hawks pro skater 2 on the DC for an Unhealthy amount of time. Nearly 15 hours. I played it for 3 hours and suddenly slipped into some kinda Zen like state. I came out 11 hours later wondering WHO THE **** GOT THAT 3 million score!
