Anime Have any of you watch Sakura War

Have anyone watch Sakura War yet? If not then I shaw give a short infor about it for those who want to know about Sakura War. The year is1919. After the First Demon Wars, Japan's steam technology is on the highest peak. But evils threaten them during this time. Because of this, A group of pioneers decided to form a fighting force to repel the evils. Teikoku Kagekidan was formed. Using an opera theater as a cover in Ginza, they protected the empire with their might. They formed the Hanagumi Group. It is made up of 6 females and 1 guy who got spiritual power. The mechs the Hanagumi uses are called the Koubu. It is a spiritual powered mech that are able to use special power to destroy the demons. And together Sakura gang fight fierce battle with the demon in order to save Tokyo from ruin. If any of you like Sakura War or là fan of it then post in and let me know some of your opinion about this show ya?

 

I've seen some of it. I was enticed by cute girls, steam-punk mecha, and an interesting demon.

However, that demon was crap. A blatent rip off of H.R. Giger's Alien.

The mecha... meh... I forgot they were even a part of it later on.

As for the cute girls, well, the blue haired one wasn't half bad.

 

YES! Viva la Sakura Taisen.

Im a huge fan of the games more than the anime, I never through the game to anime thing worked tha twell. But my favourite title is the Movie. But I personally can't wait for the new OVA series featuring the Paris Floral Assault Squad.

So by that you must mean the Sakura War 3 series ha? I wonder if that is good or not because I really dont search for SW3, can you give me a little infor about it.

 

Well the first episode of the new OVA series is already released in Japan, its called "Sumire" which revolves around Sumire retirement (Revealed at the end of Sakura Taisen 4). Episodes 2-4 (Ecole De Paris) is all about the Paris Floral Assault Squad.


And as for the Sakura Wars 3 games. Well personally they're my favourite of the Series. *is still on a mission to attain a Lobelia Carlini plushie*

 

I seen the 4 episode... thingy... things... something.

Anyways, I didn't think it was that great. I didn't see what exactly the plot was, from what I remember it was the characters had to use some steam powered machines to beat up some demons that looked like a sad imitation H.R. Giger's design. But the characters never seem to fight the demons; they seem to be more busy singing then fending of demons, and there was this girl who seem to be able to teleport... well something like that, it wasn't all that good... Well as one magazine said "Where's the wars?"
