Hmmmmmmm....I dont think they will...because water doesn't short out their circuits or anything...

If your talking about a marrionette that doesnt have an otome caido then they probably wont need air...

You're welcome!!! And for my 2 yen on the air debate,I think they do need to breathe. After all, they do need to eat, at least presumably.

My opinions for whatever they amount to...

Structurally: No. Machines don't need air, food, water etc. to survive. They only need to stay well powered and in good repair.

Psychologically: Yes. Marionettes were designed to mirror real-life human females as closely as possible. Therefore, even though they don't need to, they eat, sleep, and breathe according to their systems settings.

What does it come down to? In most cases, a marionette could easily get by without air... but depending on how "real" their software is, they may believe they need it to survive, and so may "die" without it...

BakaMattSu, interesting topic by the way!

DANX! ^^ More inspiration surging through. I'm glad though! Hey BakaMattsu, didcha read it though? ^^;; Just curious. So kay if u don't ok? :p

So anymore replies? I need to know. It's near the end so I'm in no rush. But so far the conclusion is they do need air to breath correct? They can't live without it right? :sweat2:

Haven't had time to read fic for a month now...:(

Actually, I have given this some thought over the past few hours, and I must amend my previous post...it would only apply to those
equipped with Otome Kairo. Even then, they wouldn't technically need it, but would think they need it - therefore believing themselves to be choking, drowing, etc....

"Normal" Marionettes/Psuedo AI- Not at all. They don't need it.
