Inu-Yasha hey help me out here

ok im confuse i heard that tensaiga(the sword that fluffy have)can revied any body from the death,any body who carried i cant die if someone attack them,and it cant kill. on the other hand tesuiga(the blade that inu-chan have)can kill to one hundred demond,break barrier,and also any one who carried it cant die if some one attack them.isn't that a little weird i mean they both make from inu-chan and fluffy father's fang shoulden't they have they same power?isn't that a little unfair for seshomaru what do you guy think

 

Actually it's very fair. Sesshoumaru is way more powerful than Inu because he's a full youkai. Inutaisho gave Inu the more powerful sword so he'd have a fair chance in battle. Sesshoumaru has all those gnarly powers like his poison claws and that whip that he really doesn't need the Tetsuaiga. In the end, it balances itself out. Inu who is somewhat friendlier to humans has a sword which destroys youkai and protects humans and Sessh who isn't merciful at all has the sword that can only grant life, not take it. Inutaisho wanted to teach both his sons mercy but had to go about it in different ways. Inuyasha's sword can only be used to protect humans, never to attack them and Sessh's sword can only be used for healing, not killing.

Yeah his new sword is called the Toukijin.

 

Tessaiga is meant to teach Inuyasha to protect humans, as his father ended up doing, and also to help protect him in battle, since he was only a hanyou. *spoiler* It also seals his youkai side, to defend him.

Tenseiga was meant to teach Sesshoumaru mercy, since it can never kill. It also protects him against Tessaiga, so the brothers can't kill each other with their swords.

Toukijin was made from Goshinki's fangs, and is thus an extension of Naraku and is very much evil. Sessh got this because he wanted a killer sword, since he can't really have Tessaiga (without having a human arm, which didn't work out too well the last time he tried).

As for why Tessaiga and Tenseiga have different powers, it's because Inutaisho wanted different powers in them, so he had Totousai put different powers in them.
