Excel Saga How did you get friends into Excel?

    This is a thread about how you convinced friends to at least take a look at Excel.

    I gave my friends Erika and Lauren copies of the first episode.

    After that, they were hooked.

    I think I just downloaded episodes, and made people watch, ya know? It was cool. I saw some off of the University anime show, then got some others to watch.



    Thank you for editing that yourself Neph. I was going to give you a huge comment about what is appropriate and inappropriate at M2A but I think you know

    Lauren and Erika always quote from Excel Saga, it's funny ^^;;; A-CU-ROSS-U!!!

    When I show my friends Excel Saga they usually wonder what the heck is going on, it's kind of funny... some of them think I'm a freak after but that's ok!

    To date I've seen them do Excel quizes, do Excel blog layouts, quote Excel, talk about wanting to see Excel...

    And it's all thanks to me.

    I was convinced to wath it by UK, who told me it was like FLCL only on a bit more speed. I wanted to see how that was possible, so I watched. And lo, it was funny.

    OKay, here was the cycle. I was told, "Here, watch, laugh, get hooked."

    Then, when my friends went to Anime Expo (which I *COULDN'T* attend :mad: ) they were going to show some of Excel, and I said, "Excel, watch...*snort*...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA...*giggle*"

    a guy i work with forced me and chris to sit down and watch it...and we were there till almost 2:30 am watching it lol simply cause i wouldn't let anyone leave or take me home till it was done..lol

    repeat this same method, and yes, almost everyone i know that's seen it has seen it at andrews'...who's tv is absolutly huge..tho, $1800 better be a damn big tv lol
