Inu-Yasha Inu & Sesshy's Family

Have you ever wonder about Sesshy-kun and Inu-chan family? Like how their mothers and fatherr died. Was Sesshy's motherr nice or evil? Inu's mother nice or evil? I always wonder about their family. Maybe the reason Sess is cold-hearted is because of his fater 'affair' with Inu's mother. Well tell me if you guy ever thought about their family.

I've thought about it several times. I like speculating on Sessh-sama's mom.

To answer some of your wonderings, though.... According to episodes of the anime that coincide with manga chapters, Inutaisho was killed by an injury he sustained while fighting Ryukossei, who we see around episode 51-54 or so. I would assume that Inuyasha's mother died of age, though maybe of sickness, considering how long Inuyasha's been sealed and the fact that he was 32 when he was pinned to the tree. Heck, she might have been killed by youkai.

Nothing is currently known about Sessh's mother as far as the anime and manga go, except that she was a full youkai.

 

Thanks for some of the info, Kogarashi. I only saw up to the episode of 'Kagome Kidnapped By Koga', so that's one reason I don't know much about Inu and Sesshy's father. The only thing I know about Inutaisho is that he's Inu and Sesshy's father and he's a youkai. I heard his name from fic, so that's one way I found out his name. A author told me once. What was the author name again? Oh well, anyway thanks for the info!

Not just with Inuyasha, but a lot of anime and RPG's make you wonder about the families of characters. They should include them I say.

But like I said before, maybe we can hope that Rumiko-sensei decides to do a story about her, like explain who she was and all that. She should do it for Inuyasha's mom and Inutaisho as well.

 

No prob. As a note, though, "Inutaisho" isn't officially his name. It's the general consensus among the fan-community of what to call him, since it basically means "Dog-lord."

Takahashi-sempai might end up elaborating more. We'll just have to wait and see. ^_^

 

Kogarashi when you say "32" you mean it in hanyou years right?

 

really i never thought about it..i mean if their dead their dead but in stuff like pokemon i woulda though ash's mom was dead worried about her son being out all the time..

 

Yeah but the thing is that Inuyasha doesn't have parent's to worry about him like that. They died when he was too young and so now he has his friends who worry about him, which he really doesn't mind cause it's always nice to know that someone worries about you.

 

I mean he has lived for 32 years. However, for hanyou and youkai, 32 years is like 16 to them. Sessh is 93 at the moment (Inuyasha being 82 now, after being sealed for 50 years to a tree), and Shippo is 16.

 

The year stuff is confusing Kogarashi-sama :dizzy2: But in a way I get it cause they age differently than us. Rumiko-sensei said Inuyasha had the mind set of the 16-17 year old. How did you figure out Inuyasha, Sessh, and Shippou's ages anyway?

 

Someone I talked to on a mailing list a while back had a magazine from Japan with some ages listed. Those're the only three she listed from the magazine, and I can't get a hold of her for more now, but it gives you a general perspective on things. Basically, youkai age slower.

 

I just thought of something. I think Inuyasha act a lot like his father. Don't you agree? Sesshy-kun doesn't act like his father very much. Okay so we don't know much about their father, but we know he mate with a human and Inu-chan care about a human and a dead walking corpse. Sesshy care only about Rin.

Still Inu-chan probably act like his father a lot more. Don't you agree with me?

 

They even said it in an ep. Myouga said it "Perhaps it isn't Sesshoumaru who most resembles that father...but Inuyasha". I think Myouga said it in those words.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that episode. Stupid me. I have the manga where Myoga said that too. I only have the second DVD. It cost to much money to buy!

 

It would probably be better if you downloaded the eps or recorded them off CN...

Back to topic: Ahem, yeah, we need to find out about Inu and Sessh's family. It's better when anime's show the background of characters.

 

I'm really to lazy to download or even taped the episode. I use to taped them, so I could watch it the next day.

 

lol, it's not really that hard. I'm doing it obssessivly I kick my brother off the TV so I can record it. I just think that I'm recording the same eps cause I feel like I did. All my eps are jumbled...O-o
