Inu-Yasha Inu Yasha questions

id been wondering about that.... i guess thats true though, jinenji was targeted for the same reason inuyasha was, because he was a half-demon and they could tell. as far as sesshomaru's tail goes, is that even a tail? if you can answer that, try to provide a pic or some kind evidence.

SOME POSSIBLE SPOILERS

All full youkai who are human in appearance have those pointy ears. Just check out Kouga's, or Kagura's, or Shippou's. A lot of the animal-like youkai also seem to have tails (Sesshy, Shippou, Kouga but not the other wolf youkai apparently).

Hanyou's, on the other hand, have something else to identify their half-demon nature. Inuyasha has doggy ears (having pointy ears or a tail, I think, would tag him as full-youkai). Jinenji is very very big and has huge blue eyes and a horse-shaped face (I think it was determined that his father was horse-youkai?). Shiori has white hair and purple eyes, and golden skin. Gyuu-oh spends his nights in his demon form. Naraku just doesn't count. They're obviously more than human, but not quite youkai either.

im not sure about jinenji's father. the only time i saw his father, he was in his human-like form. he reminded me more of an elf than a youkai of anykind

 

Well, youkai really are basically the Japanese version of the fae folk. ::shrug:: We had a discussion around here somewhere about Jinenji's father, though.

Keep watching the series (past where CN has it) and you'll find out who those two are.

And Sesshy wants Tessaiga because it's a sword that can kill 1000 youkai in a single swing. He'll find a way to use it, I'm sure, and part of it's also 'cause he probably doesn't want a lowly hanyou to have such a cool sword.

He gets over that later anyway.

 

i wish i could watch more episodes, but the stores i have only carry up to 'sango's suffering and kohaku's life'. and it would be nice for sesshomaru to get over the sword....oh, say, NOW!

 

Okay, I just want to ask one question that I'm curious about. You see, I'm making this fanfic and the only Inuyasha character in it is Rin. I've heard Kogarashi mention on a thread (http://www.mangatoanime.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7228&perpage=15&pagenumber=5) that Rin explained to Kohaku that she had an older brother. Please explain that because, in my story, a 13-year-old boy finds her and takes her in as a little sister (since this boy's an only child). I just want to know what anyone knows about the brother. I mean only if Rin even described him or something.

 

As far as Rins brother goes that is all they said about him was that Rin saw him die. Nothing else has been mentioned yet.

What is the name of Kagome's Cat?

Around episode 30 or so, Kikyo is captured by Naraku. She decides to kill the fake she is with. What does this do when the Naraku puppet is destroyed?

 

The cats name is boru (close to that spelling)

Kikyo destores the puppet. Inside it has a wooden loop thingy with narakus hair on it. If you cut the wooden thing naraku will lose power over the puppet. that puppet will be no more

What triggers Inuyasha's transformation to full demon

 

It's actually best romanized as Buyo.


SPOILERS IN THE ANSWER TO THE TRASNFORMATION QUESTION.






There're a few things that deal with the transformation.

It should be noted, first, that Tessaiga seals Inuyasha's demon side. This is because the blood he got from his father (a taiyoukai) is so powerful that if Inuyasha were to continue going "full demon," as it were, it would destroy his half-human body. Inutaisho didn't want this happening to his son, so he gave him a sword that seals his youkai blood. So Inuyasha will never change to full demon if he has Tessaiga in his grasp.

Second, the transformation is only triggered when Inuyasha (or any other hanyou, for that matter) is threatened beyond what he can handle himself. It wasn't really a problem for Inuyasha before he started hunting for the shards with Kagome, and getting into bigger and more dangerous battles. Most other hanyous don't seemed to be quite threatened to the extent that Inuyasha is as well. Naraku and Gyuu-oh don't count in this, since Naraku is too friggin' powerful, and Gyuu-oh is human by day and demon by night (so his demon side doesn't really need to take over).

So to best answer your question, what triggers Inuyasha's transformation is not being close enough to Tessaiga, and having his life threatened to the point where he can not really save himself.

Episode examples (not necessarily in chronological order):

When Goshinki breaks Tessaiga, Inuyasha is left without his main weapon, and even that was doing squat against Goshinki, so he went full demon for the first time.

Against Gatenmaru (the moth demon), he was trapped in a corrosive coccoon with Miroku, a poisoned hole in his chest, and no way out. Tessaiga was outside the coccoon. The only thing Inuyasha could do was go full demon.

Against Sesshoumaru and Toukijin, Tessaiga was too heavy, and Sesshoumaru had a dangerous new sword. Kagome stopped this before it got anywhere.

Against Ryuukotsusei, Tessaiga was doing squat and Inuyasha was getting his trash majorly kicked. He managed to overcome the transformation, however, and become strong enough to defeat the demon dragon.

if i remember correctly, they did show totosai in the last few episodes before it went off air. and kagura will come up soon after they bring inuyasha back. this may or may not be considered a spoiler, but kagura and kanna are 'detatchments' of naraku. i believe in the game naraku calls kagura his 'reincarnation'. but, kagura is forced to follow naraku's orders i forgot why, could someone tell me?

 

So kagura and kanna are the 2 characters?

 

FIRST Kagura is not free. Naraku still has her heart. He uses that against her. He makes her do things for him or he will kill or make her become back into one with him. *Spoiler* She has kinda already helped out the group already. So I think she will be kinda good.

SECOND Kanna isn't in the game. She really cant do anything but with her mirror.

It has to be the "demon" inuyasha. Everyone else we have seen so far. Kagome, kikyo, sango, miroku, sess, Kagoua, toutousai, and inuyasha. Ill need to look at the game to see if there is any other characters
