Inu-Yasha Inuyasha´s father real name

Does anyone know his name? In the third movie,he´s called Inu no Taishou,what means Boss (or leader) of the dogs.it is not a name in itself,but a title.

I read once,where i can´t remember,that his name was Renon,or something similar....does he have a name or just that tittle of the movie ?

well, all i know is that myoga and those other old guys call him inu no taishou. but most people call him inuyaisho. the only thing that's different is just about the 'no' but you might already know that. like what you said that inu no taisho means the boss of the dogs. but without it, it's just, well... boss-dog. not making sense, am i... oh well.

but anyway, maybe nobody really knows his name exept rumiko takahashi. or his name really is something like renon... *looking back on what i wrote. confused*

Hola Amanayara, welcome to the boards! (I notice you're new, even though I already possessed that knowledge thanks to the influence of the newbies forum ^_^). Inu's ol' man is actually referred to as Inutaisho (from what I've heard through the grapevine), though Japanese suffixes and whatnot may have had some effect on this.

For future reference, try using the handy "search" feature before creating new threads (duplicates just get closed) as there are already multiple threads concerning Inuyasha's father.

It would be nice to know his real name, but I don't know anywhere it is mentioned.
