Cowboy Bebop Is there plans to continue this series?

I really love Cowboy Bebop and it seems they left a lot of things hanging in the air...has there been any talk about continuing the series or at least making more movies???

 

The series is Done.. Complete.. Fini..

And What do you mean things have been left hanging in the air.. Everything explains itself in the series..

well, they really only finalized what happened to Spike...what about Jet and Faye? And will Edward find her father? Stuff like that...I mean you can of course assume everything goes the way it should with Jet and Faye bounty hunting together and Edward reunites with her father...

 

Except for that the series didnt leave nothing unexplained.It would be nice to have a sidestory though where it shows what happened to the characters after the series was over.

 

You must remember something.. just before the end of the series the Bounty hunter channel. cant recall the name of the show they always watched.. anyway it goes off the air.. and that basicaly forsadows the fact that bounty hunting has come to an end..

So how can you make a show with Jet and Faye being bounty hunters when you dont have the show telling you about the villians for the show..

I dont want to see sidestorie.. if its done right it may be good.. but if it done wrong just show they can make money it will ruin Cowboy bebops image as a great series..

The show doesnt have to be about bounty hunting but, that would just ruin the whole plot of cowboy bebop.

 

I think it would only hurt to the series to continue it in any way, although I can certainly understand why somebody would want more. I finally finished the show last night on DVD and it is incredibly sad to think that we'll never see the Bebop crew again (except for the movie, even though that takes place before the end of the series). I think it would be cool to have a prequel series, though, portraying Spike's life before he met up with Jet. His background and past as told in CB is pretty damn interesting and would make for a great series on its own, especially since Spike is such a cool character.

But again, I can understand why someone would want the series to continue in one way or another. It is sad to think that we'll never see them, or especially Spike, again.

 

I don't think they should make more.

Theres always the manga.They are "sidestories" to the anime series.(nothing about what happened after the series)They are mostly focus on comedy but they are good stories.
