Eirtaku Japanese Band Playing in Cork

Spotted that little flyer thingy when I was strolling past the toilets in college today.

Could be a laugh so might check it out, dunno if any Eirtaku are thinking of going.

I've done some looking around and luckily for those of you who don't want to visit the muck capital of the south, and I guess there are alot of you, Mika Bomb are playing other gigs around the country. Yay!

Anyway here's the list of dates and venues:

27 March - Cork - Half Moon Theatre
28 March - Limerick - Dolans Warehouse
29 March - Dundalk - Spiritstore
30 March - Dublin - Whelans
31 March - Waterford - ???

 

I'd probably be up for it when they play in Dublin... maybe a few of us could go

 

I'd go, if it was an all ages gig.

 

But are they any good? Has anyone heard a sample of their music? I'd go if they were recommendable.

 

Heard one of their songs "Contact Tokyo", pretty cool.
Japanese birds singing in English is always funky/funny.

I'll upload the track to my site either tonight or tomorrow so ye can have a listen.

 

Yeah I nabbed one of their tracks off Kazaa the other day. Good enough stuff. Ill definitely go.

 

Hmm, I might be up for that. I'll check them out and if I don't think they suck, maybe if yis're meeting up before hand.
