Eirtaku Japanese CD's in Irish shops!?

    Have any of ye spotted many Japanese CD's in the shops here???

    Was is Virgin Megastore Cork and they had what looked like US releases of the DBZ soundtrack, while I was there I picked up Point, Japanese DJ Cornelius's latest album (wicked album BTW)
    They also had 2 of his older albums there.

    Bought Ryuichi Sakamoto's Mr.Christmas Mr.Lawrence ST CD in HMV a while back too.

    I saw Corneliouses album in Virgin megastores tallaght and Mad capsule markets OSC-DIS album too.

    well, cornelius played at witness this year so he must be fairly well known in Ireland at least, so I'm not too surprised to find that point is in shops in Ireland, specially not big ones like HMV.
    bloody good Dj too :)

    mad capsule markets are japenese? i've seen the vids for "tribe" and another single of theirs on kerrang.. they're terrible :)

    course if I ever see an aya matsuura or utada hikaru cd in a shop here, I might have to buy it

    You should be able to pick some Yellow Magic Orchestra, Towa Tei in Dublin too - as well as Sakamoto of course. The only other Japanese artists you may find are Kitaro and Tomita in the new age section.

    Always wanted to check out some Yellow Magic Orchestra stuff, never seen it for sale anywhere though.
