Inu-Yasha Kagome VS Kikyo

Who would win? with no interferance from anyone else... id say... i dont care, theyd both die in a tie...

 

I picked kagome. kikyo bugs me more than kagome does. plus shes the main charachter, kikyo becomes evil (sort of) and for some reason good always triumphs over evil. even though kikyo is way more skilled than kagome is, kagome would probably show some wierd lucky ability out of nowhere.

if they're fighting over inuyasha it'd just end in a draw I think.

Kikyou is a very powerful, though Kagome has been growing alot in power. I think in the end Kikyou would beat Kagome. Kagome is a good fighter, but with no help form the others to come and help her in her time of need, she wouldn't be doing so great, yes she would put up a pretty good fight with Kikyou, but I think that Kikyou has more wisdom and power and in the end beat her. I think it woulod also depend on what they were fighting over too.

 

I'm mostly taking this as a "what if" situation. In reality (well, not really), I don't believe Kikyou and Kagome would fight physically against each other for Inuyasha.

But since this is a "what if" situation, I believe Kikyou would win. To me, it's more a matter of skill than power. Kikyou is better trained as a priestess. Kagome has amazing powers but her powers seem to come up spontaneously. Kikyou has more knowledge with her skills and knows what to do. So in my opinion, I think Kikyou will come out as the victor.

As for fighting over Inuyasha, I'm not getting into that one. Because I don't ever think that would happen.

Seriously, Kikyo would win in a fight between the two of them, because, as has been said, she has more training in how to use her powers. Raw power is nothing compared to controlled and skillful use of power.

 

i'd have to say kikyo. even though kagome's an okay fighter, she's nothing compared to kikyo. kikyo is like, a priestess who's been fighting demons for a real long time, whilst kagome is just an average girl who happens to posses some special powers, and well, she just doesn't really know how to use them.

Hey, yeah well i'm gonna have to agree with Yakamashi....and besides of that Kikyo has beyond more experience with fighting skills then Kagome...and Kagome can only like shoot arrows.....umm...kinda boring and there isn't any cool ghost floting around her...so yea.. so i think kikiyo can kick Kagome's a$$..and i don't really like Kagome because she's just too annoying....

SO FINALLY SOMEONE GETS ME!! Yeah, you can be right about that with Kagome...lol!..I'm still waiting for her to actually just go away or just die....no offence to those of you that like her...but that's my own thinking..hahahaha ...teehee!! but i know it won't happen though....

 

meh, i know.... but it might happen one day!! who knows...? but you know what...? kagome may just beat kikyo's **** one day... i hope that'll never happen..

 

I'm going with Kikyo.

Kagome is strong and all, but she never practices and she hardly uses her powers. I can imagine Kagome putting up a better fight then some may think, but I still think Kikyo would whoop Kagome's tail back to her own era.

but thinking about it I like kikyo more than kagome after reading a few more books. and most of you are right kikyo has way more skill than kagome, but I still think it would end up in a draw. (kagome has a little skill :glazed: )

 

Kikyo would win for two glaringly obvious reasons: One (as previously stated) While Kagome's been said to possess a disturbing ammount of raw power, Kikyo has trained dilligently to master and manipulate her spiritual energy, thus rendering Kagome helpless and conceivably doomed (as evidenced by several occasions towards the beginning of the series when her intentions toward Kagome were still questionably hostile). Additionally, Kagome's own morals would prevent her from retaliating against Kikyo no matter what the circumstances - given Kagome's personality, she'd most likely endure whatever Kikyo dished out and desperately pray that Inuyasha arrive and rescue her before Kikyo managed to finish her off.

Just a heads-up to the mods (my sincerest apologies if you're already aware of this): There's a duplicate approx. two threads beneath this one, but it's a reasonably older (2002/3) thread that someone chose to revive about a week ago...do whatever you deem appropriate (although that could be absolutely nothing, in which case I apologize for pointing out the obvious ^_^).

 

I just wanna see Kagome beat Kikyo, even though it's probably not gonna happen. Kikyo would win because she has magical arrows, can manipulate her spiritual energy, and can probably take whatever Kagome threw at her. But Kagome is strong, I'll give her that.

Heck, part of me is doubting Kikyou would even win, it wouldn't surprise me if Kagome got a power boost and somehow won. Or it ended in a draw or something.

Or maybe... I'm looking too far into it...

 

Fellas, fellas. There's really no argument here. Here's my anti-climatic (I hope I spelled that right) version of how the battle would go.

Kagome: "I'm taking a stand, you're not getting Inuyasha!"
Kikyo: "Why do you wish to fight me?"
Kagome: "Shut up! Take this!" Kagome shoots a sacred arrow at Kikyo.
Kikyo: ".........You missed."
Kagome: "Oh oh." Kikyo shoots a sacred arrow at Kagome.
Kagome: "AAaaahhhhhhhh!!!" Her scream draws all of the souls out of Kikyo's body. She dies. Kagome gets hit by the arrow. She dies.

Draw.
