Inu-Yasha kimono debate

well u know inuyashas kimono right u know how in somw episodes it gets ripped up and bloody. well how come it alway in the next ep its regular?
is it because its made frome the frie rat or what

anyway iv seen all the eps and i still dont det it

 

i think it gets fixed up because its the fire rat and his powers that make him be gorgeous all the time

That's the phrase that reads, basically, "Fire-rat fur, stronger than simple armor" or something like that, isn't it?

I believe the general consensus is that, first, his fire-rat fur clothes protect against fire (which is why they never burn) and are better than simple armor (they break weak katanas, but can't block against better weapons). So weak attacks won't hurt as much.

As for it always looking good, the general consensus I've seen for discussions on the kimono and hakama is that the fire-rat fur manages to regenerate itself after a while.
