Anime King of Bandit JING

I've heard that the anime and manga, King of Bandit JING, is great. Has anyone seen it/read it yet who could give me an opinion on it?

 

Well, I saw episode 1 on the Newtype preview disc thingy. It looks pretty good. My friend collects the manga, I'll have to string her up by her toes and force her to watch the Weiss dub until she lets me read it.

 

I've seen the manga around here at the bookstore, haven't considered getting it yet. I'll check it out if I like the anime, though, whenever Amazon.com decides that I should get the DVD.

 

Yeah, i got the first episode on the Newtype disc, and i thought it was really funny(i...i...i have nothing to do with the story. Farewell!). i would buy the manga if i could find it.

 

i also got the NEWTYPE trial version thing. i thought it was good also i will probably buy the manga next time i see it around.

 

:') For a sec, I thought you'd seen Jing. Seems I'm the only one who has. I've not read the manga, obviously, but the anime was sweet. Sweet animation. It's very...action oriented, not a whole lot of character development, but keeps you on your toes. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I reccommend it, Femmy.

 

I just saw it the other day... Amazon.com finally delivered.

What can I say, I like it. The art is awesome. I'm currently looking for the screenshot at the end of the credits with Jing in chains and the "wanted" sign in front, though I like all the pics shown at the end... cannot find any on the internet yet to download though.

The anime rocks, plain and simple, despite the lack of character development, and I'm starting on the manga now to see if it's even better.

BTW, for those who've read/want to read the manga... the first volume's third section "display" page features Jing giving the reader the finger. Now I wish they had put *that* in the anime.
