Anime Live action Akira

    what do you guys think about the plans of the live action akira?
    i hate the idea of a hollywood akira staring american actors and taking place in the u,s of a and not noeo tokyo.

    man when i found out earlier today i just felt akward and sick about the whole idea and now that i know that its not even gonna be set in neotokyo....(shudders). well ive never really had faith in film remakes let alone remakes of anime (i refer u to the live action remakes of fist of the north star and dragonball), the fact that they r doing this to the very film that turned me on to anime just makes me feel ill.

    Don't forget the rumors of live action Evangelion or Dragonball Z.

    Honestly, live-action is no substitute for the real thing. :p

    ...the real thing being anime, that is. ^^

    I cant bileve this, there going to ruin a great anime movie, and that DBZ movie.......i cant bileve whats happening now.......
