Manga Lone Wolf And Cub: Any good???

Do you like Lone Wolf and Cub?

I had planned on checking it out my next trip to the bookstore, but i wanted some info from fellow anime people before hand.

Would you recomend Lone Wolf and Cub?

 

I personnally don't like it it was too lon and drawn out. i could barely even see and read b/c the text n pics are pretty tiny, and there are like a million books, but thats just my oppinion.

 

Yes it is a great series, definately worth checking it out although be warned it is 28volumes so can end up being a bit expensive if you enjoy it. The small print is not that bad, I have more difficulty reading parts of GTO .

The translations are very well done and they tend to keep the traditional japanese words rather than modern equvalents which adds to the whole thing.

On the off chance you are planning on watching the 6 movies hold off until you have finished the books as the movies are a bit of a let down

 

I've been looking for that series for YEARS!!!
Everytime I mentioned it here, people just look at me funny and don't reply.
I have a board game based on this series that my uncle gave me years ago ... before I was even interested in anime and manga. If the manga's even half as cool as the game (which is like roleplaying, sort of ... it's great), then the manga's gotta be ridiculously amazing.
