Anime longest anime movie

    does anyone know what the longest anime movie is, time length wise i mean. not like a series, but an actual movie?

    So far I think Princess Mononoke. That movie is like 2 hrs and 15 minutes I think. Quite long but very good ^_^

    Dagger of Kamui (aka Blade of Kamui) is almost as long: 2 hours 12 min.

    I do belive that Mobile Suit Gundam Movie 3: Encounters in Space clocked in on my DVD at 2hr 24Min

    Spirited away or Castle in the Sky. The backm nof the DVDs say aprox. 125 mins for both, that's 2 hours and 5 minutes, but I don't believe it. Spirited away was an hour and a half, and Castle in the sky was even longer. My dvd player don't lie.

    The longest anime movie I know of is Sazan Eyes(AKA)3x3 eyes at 420 minutes which is 4 hours 30 minutes. Well actually 3x3 Eyes perfect collection for DVD.:)

    I would had thought Spirited Away too...
    3X3 had a movie that long? You sure it's not an OVA?

    well the movie is based on seven episodes.That make the movie.2 disk set.But you may be right.
    Question:what is an OVA?
