    I don't know really. I never thought about it. I mean I really didn't really see it as make up. I always thought about it being there as part of the art of the characters and to make their actions look more dramatic...maybe??

    it did seem like that, but i had a talk w/ yakamashi last night and she said that it was weird but i think that you're right about the art

    Zero_Enna, I took care of it ;)

    Anyway, I think its neat with the red eye shadow :p It shows that to the smallest detail there is a difference between a demon and a normal human

    Wouldn't the claws, tail, and the way they act tell you that they are demon and not human? As far as the make up goes it could be a cultural thing.

    thanks, i had a PERSONAL chat on the phone w/ her the night when i first saw her doing that (but is wasnt harsh) i told her just not to do it again and told her how to add somthing if she wanted... oh well

    Makeup: Anyway I fell that it's kinnda strange, cause first, you dont see many ppl these days wearing eyeliner (i mean the boys that is) but i mean who would? but i can picture men mainly lords wearing eyeliner and anyway isnt this the Sengoku era or shall I say Warring States era or feudal times? i mean we're talking about the 1500-1600's and normaly I would think you WOULD wear eyeliner.

    Although it's a little weird, and my brother's sort of tease it, I think it makes them look cute (yeah yeah, I sort of think Naraku in that human form he has looks sort of cute).

    I'm sure it's a cultural thing. I can probably tell you more this fall after I've taken my Feudal Japanese History class. It's probably a status mark for those of high rank. You don't see it on as many of the humans because the human extras are usually drawn with those tiny dot eyes.

    Then again, it could be a youaki thing. Gatenmaru, another youkai, has lipstick (and I think eyeshadow).

    Makes sense. Actors in the feudal times in Japan wore makeup on their faces, when they weren't wearing masks. Least, I think they did....

    You're taking a class Kograshi-sama!?! How cool!!! yes, please tell us once you take it so we can know the truth. How funny would it be though to ask that to your teacher and then he/she will look at you funny cause you say you saw it on Inuyasha ^^;;
