Mangakayou need to agree on a certain sytle and practice. Pick an artist you would like to imitate his or her style. Or can anyone come up of a plan so that everyone's art can look about the same.

One more thing Nominate a Head of Department! IT the person who will keep contact with all mangakas and keep informing us of the development.

Not to be rude but I nominate Misao. Unless she's too busy with her own manga. We don't necessarily need to copy her style (too complicated anyway:glazed: ) but she can lead us.

    Whaddya say Misao?

Yu Watase huh? I could do that I guess. But only the people, the backgrounds are waaay to complicated. I guess that's up to the background artisit's though. Anyway I like that style but we could compile many different style's into one.

Yuu Watase? If we could all draw like that, we'd have our own mangas by now. ^_^

If you wanna try, it is beautiful! Let's make sure we can all do teh style. So once we agree on a style, lets all draw a picture of it. ^_^

Also, I suggest Sugisaki Yukiru. He's the artist of DN Angel. It looks complicated, but it's pretty easy, and beautiful!

Check out This Site. Gorgeousness! XD

Just a suggestion: maybe each character can be in a different style. That way, at least each character by himself/herself will look consistent throughout the manga. The bonus: it'll make the manga more visually interesting, and let different art styles come together (in case people end up fighting over what style to draw the manga in).

If the mangakas choose this path, maybe 1-2 can work on each character. (2-3 artists for the main character) Just a suggestion... I'm not even part of the team!

    hmmm...

Well... The style I have mastered the most would have to be Dragonball Z...
But hey if you want a style my new one is not all that hard. :)
I did the no hands thing on purpose... I can draw hands I just want him to have really long sleeves... I dont think they are long enough though...
Also I'm pretty sure I could draw characters in the style mentioned above... but I'm also not sure I'm even apart of this so what am I doing here?

ok, what kind of story are you guys going with? the art should match the mood of the story to correctly convey it's feelings in an artistic manner. is it a love-comedy? serious? fighting? a period tale?

Im liking the suggestion of each character having a slightly different style. So far the suggestions have all been great art; but dont you think they're a little complex for a web-comic?

    *shrugs*

Id like to nominate Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina) and Koshi Rikdo (Excel Saga) - both simple and effective.

And oh yeah - thankies to UFOtaku for directing me here :shy3: been a lil bus recently :bleed:

No prob. ^^ I think we should be a little more simple, liek MrPig said. We're doing a love comedy, methinks. Excel Saga is a nice style, but it will take a while for everyone to learn a style, no matter how easy.

Here's what I think. Let's not try to imitate a style first. Lets all put up art, and see where our styles overlap and stuff. Then we can adapt all of our styles to one person, since we may be surprised how similar our styles are...
I have alot of different styles, I haven't picked exactly one yet, but just go to my M2A gallery. ^_^

UFOtaku might have a good point there. Maybe we don't need to imitate an artist style... Check out each others gallery,

Don't forget to Select a head Mangaka. Make sure you head can keep us updated of what going on and keep contact with all of you! :)

Bloodberry's art is good! I can do it. ^_^
And I don't think you have a gallery yet, do you MrPig?

That's everyone who's posted so far. We really need to get the rest of the mangaka here! I already PMed everyone... so I guess they just havent been on in a while. :p
