Anime Memories

    As I see NOTHING on this great film mentioned here, I shall mention it.
    Memories has finally become available in the states this march.

    Memories is a movie made up of 3 short stories. the first you may have seen used in a very loverly AMV done to phantom of the opera. it's a wonderful story about 2 spacemen, and a ghost.

    the second is called Stink Bomb. absolutly hilaroius. liked akira? same directer here. follow the poor guy who took the wrong pill as he tried to figure out why everyone is either trying to kill him, or dying when they're near him.

    the third is about a child who dreams of being the trigger-puller for a very, very, VERY large cannon/gun thing. very interesting art style to it. (it's also 2 of the three pictures on the cover XD )

    pick it up. tis old, and very good.

    Saw the AMV you mentioned, and went and searched long and hard to find out what it was actually from, then downloaded it. Never got past the first one, Magnetic Rose, with spacemen and the ghost. I have to say I was disappointed in it. The AMV was so good, I love it to this day, but the movie didn't have the pacing or the music I was hoping for after watching the AMV.

    Keep meaning to go back and watch the rest of it, maybe I will sometime.

    I've been wanting to see this for about a year now.I saw the preview on the Cowboy Bebop movie DVD and thought it looked incredible.Now i'll finally be able to pick it up.:)

    P.S. I also heard that it isn't dubbed in English,but only available in Subtitles.Is this true?

    japanese 5.1 sound only, so yes, true. -puts dvd down-

    Yeah, I read stuff about this, I think it's available on PAL DVD too, which is nice. I might pick it up. And no english dubbing, hurray.
