    Well, it's what my friends call it, but what is the name of the dacne that Michael Jackson does. Like sliding his feet across the floor without lifting them up at all. It looks cool.

    Moonwalking is fun. simply left your heel slowly and drag your foot backwards and gain some space. continue. lots of joyous fun.

    I was gonna do it at the dance contest at my high school prom, but my black Hush Puppies were too grippy on the bottom.

    It's been named Moonwalking probably since before Michael Jackson. He just made it popular, and is still one of the smoothest people to pull it off.

    Besides, it's kinda like breakdancing...there's the Windmill, the Flare, Six-Steps, etc.

    A WALTZ is a named dance too! :sweat2:

    I don't get the moonwalk.... it's just like walking backwards, right, cept you slide?

    someone once wrote a song about the moonwalk o_O

    I can't stand Michael Jackson, i hope he gets found guilty. Two cases against him does seem suspiscious.

    The ones I find suspicious are the kid's parents. Knowing that Michael Jackson paid millions to settle the last case, they send their son over to his place, hoping Michael will dos omething nasty to him so they can sue for loads of money.

    Never mind what it does to the kid, at least they get rich. Scum.

    Yeah, moonwalking has been around before Michael Jackson. To do it, alternate lifting the heel of each foot, and which ever foot is flat on the ground is the one that slides back. There are other moves you can do in the same style, like liquid raving. Or, if you ever get to see the rematch breakdance battle between The Family and Rock Force Crew, there's the one on one "poppin" battle between these two guys. One of them, the guy from Rock Force Crew, does this REALLY smooth turning move where he slides around in a circle while turning in the opposite direction, and looks like he's on skates or something!
