That's new to me too. I remembered there being multiple moons, but yowza!

Hmm...wonder what kind of affect they have on Terra II's rotation, climate, and gravity?

Killer surf days, sure. But how do they manage to sleep at night with all that light?

Uh... very very good shutters? Like the kind people would put over their windows in England during the Blitz in World War 2?

Either that or they just don't sleep, or they've adapted to the light, kind of like an evolutionary thing...

whoo-hah, this Marshmallow root tea makes my body feel all relaxed and happy

We have to consider something else...

NOT ALWAYS we have full moons!

So in my opinion this cuadruple (or fiftuple? whatever) full moon is really an astronomical event!!

So maybe the weather forecast can predict how much luminosity this night will be. As in...

"And the next week we have four full moons. We recommend you using shutters to cover your windows at night. As for the plasma storms, the mesopotamia weather information shows a level 3 plasma storm approaching from the east."

Good point. I wonder how many of them are full/waning at once.

tho, imagine how creepy it'd been when they're all in the new moon phase...totally black out...except maybe the stars....tho, that is a neat site right there *^-^*

Hey thanks for the info on the moons, because of that I wrote a new fanfic, too bad it's not exactly what most SMJ fanfiction writers write about. But any ways, not because of the number of moons, but because the size of the moons, the planet must be huge, so that means the gravity is like maybe 10+ times stronger than earth. How come the six survivors had no trouble walking on Terra II?

Truth to tell, I wanna see what kind of havoc that plays with tides and weather systems. Plus the fact that maybe it shouldn't look so dark out. I mean, with 4-5 moons, shouldn't everything be a little bit brigther?

You know it's been bugging me for a while, now at first I said Terra II must be a huge planet.... I recant that.

    Why?

    SMJ Again

When Marine had to diffuse the plasma, she must have been at the center of the planet to to that, why, she herself couldn't possibly diffuse the entire planets plasma being near the crust of the planet. She may be able to diffuse Japoness' plasma, but the rest of the planet's, probably not.

Well that's the reason it's small, but if it's small, how is it able to hold that many moons? Some may say, such as my brother, that Terra II is a very dense planet, making it's gravity bit powerful, but if that was true, wouldn't Marine's freefall down toward the center of Terra II, be like dropping a piece of lead down Jupiter? and wouldn't the people living on Terra II have a hard time moving?

Either that or Terra II really just a moon and one of those moons we see, is really the actual planet.

    Yeah. VERY GOOD POINT.

I vote for the "planet is actually a moon" theory...

But then we arrive to a paradox. If Terra II is a moon, wouldn't this mean it was an easy target for meteorites?

Now there's a theory. What if the moons have an even LESSER density (and mass) than Terra II itself? Then they would be relatively large, but have so little mass that they would remain as moons and it would be impossible for one of them to assume the planet role.

    OR PERHAPS....

What if Terra II had a very WEAK and LOW DENSITY surface, but a VERY DENSE AND HEAVY core? that would explain why gravity is similar to Earth.

If we remember the law of universal gravitation, the farther we are from a determinate mass, the LESSER its attraction.

On earth, at sea level, we have an acceleration of 9.8 m / s^2. Around 2000 meters we would have an acceleration of 9.78 or 9.72 m / s^2.

But given the small size of the planet, this gradient would be much deeper, possibly reaching 9.5 or 9.4 m/s^2 on high mountains, and 10 or even 12 m/s^2 underground.

And since volcanos actually have plasma instead of magma, then the metals and rocks occupy both the core and the surface.

Or perhaps the magma by gravity is letting the plasma occupy the near-topmost layers of the planet?

NOW - why doesn't the plasma, being much lighter than air, just ESCAPE from the planet? Because it's MAGNETICALLY attracted to it!

But we would wonder why doesn't the air escape. Perhaps the gravity is still too high to let it escape. And/or perhaps the air is ionized and mixed with the plasma, creating heavily fast flows of air / plasma clouds which follow the planet's magnetic fields.

This can explain the high frequency of plasma storms in Japoness.

Grrr this is what happens with man-made planets. There's always some fault ... ^_^

(But at least it passed the SCIENCE test! :p

Oh boy, i wouldn't like to be a geologist on Terra II... :anime:
