Anime Nadesico Movie

Does anyone know if Nadesico movie dvd will be released in US?

 

I do belive it was. I researched it and signs point to yes.

Question : I was wondering if there's any plans to release "Martian Successor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness" movie in the US. I recently finished watching the series (today actually) and decided it was time to look for more information on the matter. While searching the Internet I came across some mention of ADV acquiring the rights to the movie, but the date on that news was late 2000. Is it normal for someone to sit on the rights of something for that long? Besides that, the series has been out for a while, so why would they be holding it?

Answer : Actually I remember reading something that said the Nadesico movie would be released either in fourth quarter of this year or very early next year but nothing that has been deemed “official”. It can take some time to get the voice actors schedules to coincide especially one that has so many voice actors. It's sort of like the Cowboy Bebop movie that took almost well over a year and a half to get from the first voice acting to theatres. Plus with a company like ADV that has to juggle so many titles at once, many titles are often put lower on the priority list.

 

Interesting; I guess it's just matter of time to be released.

 

I am sure that it will be released in the next 6 months
