    hehe 228 is out now. I'm so happy! This is so suspenseful I do wonder if they will add more in the anime during this part, like, I mean right now eps 97+ they are adding all that stuff about Konohamaru and the anime usually adds more action as well. One chapter goes by so quickly when in the middle of a fight. *pouts*

    I knooooow. -___- Fights take a million chapters. *sigh*

    Sometimes I like to just forget about the weekly releases and preoccupy myself with something else... then remember and come back to a few new chapters. Ahhhh. Makes me so happy to read a bunch at a time. xD XD

    Was I the only one who almost cried when reading 229? maybe I'm just mushy but it was very touching eh? probably the best chapter during this fight yet. (edit: 230 was just so awesome!)
    That Kakashi will come and try to stop the fight, but I wonder what he could really do? I guess we'll see eh.

    Since Sasuke changed.. I don't see that happening. If we even look back to the other fights.. they took a few chapters, I think right? but this one has a higher importance. plus, the manga will flip to Kakashi at some point again.. so that may be a whole chapter too.. well, we'll find out ^___^

    Spoilers, Of Course

    I have a feeling Kakashi will come in, in time, and stop the fight. There's just something that makes both characters seem better if they can't finish a fight, rather than declare one the victor over the other. Helps establish more of a even level of skill. Meh... it's just depressing how awful-looking Sasuke as a level 2 Cursed Seal looks... though then again, Tayuya was the only one that looked decent in that form (And it doesn't help the other three Sounds looked horrible enough as it is :p)

    T.T It ends!(reffering to the fight) Kakashi was too late to stop the fight...
    Aww Naruto.... I don't believe Naruto is dead...

    What do you think the scar mark across Sasuke forehead protector mean? What now, is Sasuke going to become a runaway Shinobi...?!

    chapter 233

    I thought the slash mark meant they failed or ran out on their village.(maybe even failure/disgrace as a shinobi/ninja of the village) Does Itachi have that mark too? I think. (I wondered who marked Itachi if not himself? and the mark must have various symbolic meanings depending on who marked them) It must mean something truly important to Naruto to have aimed for that during the fight, then lose. Sasuke must be pretty injured though. Of course I don't believe Naruto is dead.

    edit: do you think this shows Naruto gave up on Sasuke? or the other way around?

    Right now, I'm doubting that Sasuke's actually killed Naruto, partially on the 'main character never really dies' cliché and also the fact that Sasuke had a little softie moment when Naruto was lying down. Of course, I could be wrong, but Sasuke sure didn't look power-hungry any more.

    lol.. the end of 234 had a One Piece villain flair.. lol all I could do was say wtf and then laugh.. I'm interested to know what Sasuke means by his own way.. to be stronger than his brother. It's probably joining Orochimaru eh? too bad his shirt is ripped.. I wonder who sews?

    Naruto must be pretty bummed out though, he promised to bring back Sasuke and everyone went through so much trouble to do so. I wonder if Sasuke will come back himself, but I don't think he'll be taken back so easily.

    What's up with the venus flytrap head guy?

    I thought Kishimoto popped a villain out of his butt. But it's one of those members of that group, Akatsuki who are going after Naruto for the Kyubi inside of him. I didn't notice his clothes since I was so enthralled by the 'venus flytrap get-up'. So.. more Naruto being chased in the meantime I guess. Maybe some Kakashi action? anyways. Naruto vs. Sasuke #? fight over.. for now...sniff.

    Yeah, was wondering who in the Hell that Venus-Fly Trap guy was. For a moment I thought the fellow with Itachi (can't remember his name) had some kind of evolution? ;P Then upon closer inspection realized it didn't even really look like him at all.

    I don't really care about what happens to Sasuke, or Naruto, I just want to know the status of Neji and Chouji. ;P And of course, see more of the Three Sand Nin. Mm. Temari.

    BEWARE OF MILD SPOILERS!!!
    I'm up to Ch. 237 of the manga I don't want to reveal anything too hazardous but Naruto and Sasuke will battle, and the outcome won't be anything like what you will expect. He he it's like a teaser trailer for a movie. I'm soo glad the Sand Trio is back I predicted they would make a comeback, but I didn't know how soon. Mmmmm Gaara.
