Neon Genesis Evangelion Marathon - This Weekend

This is Currently a Provisional Announcement. I should be able to make it official tommorrow (pending the room booking coming through).

There will be a Neon Genesis Evangelion Marathon on in NUI Maynooth this weekend.

    Ross will be the Host.

Here's an outline of how he hopes the weekend will go:

Everyone is welcome to come. :)

It's always advised to bring food for an Anime Marathon. It will last for at least 13 full episodes

of the given anime per day.

NUI Maynooth is on the 66 and 67A bus routes, departing from Wellington Quay.
Suburban rail services depart from Connolly station and sometimes from Tara Street and Pearse Street

stations. See www.dublinbus.ie/home and www.irishrail.ie/home for departure times.

the bus or rail drop off points:

I know it's late notice but it's back on.

I went over to the room bookings office and convinced them that we needed the room :)

That was my 3rd eva marathon in maynooth in the same amount of years :)

I couldn't believe it. I still noticed loads of things i hadn't seen before.

The directors cuts of 21-24 went down a treat and the radio play of eva with the original voice-actors was cool.

    Eva is absolutly amazing.

There was always between 8-10 people there.

Some people drifted in and out during it (people who i know were at the previous eva marathons and had seen it before)

Right at the end was the best. As the credits for the End of Eva roled up, almost everyone stood up and asked about bits they couldn't understand. Eva doing it's usual mind-warping (absolutly brilliant :))

PS - Sorry to all those who may have missed the marathon due to the bad organising.

ye had to go home, seen it plenty of times anyway, decent enough turn out there though, if people only knew what they were missing.
