I looked on Cartoon Network's schedule and they're starting over at ep 1 after they show ep 36. I can't believe this. Cartoon Network has sh!t for brains.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! THEY CAN'T DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *coughs* HOW CAN THEY DO THAT TO MY ILLNESS!!!!!!!!! NOW ITS WORST.

The doctors said that if I don't get any new Inu-Yasha episodes then I will surely die! Ok so I'm making that up but if I don't get any new episodes, I'm marching right down to the CN network's station and forcing the ppl to put on new episodes.

Yeah...I've been so desperate for some new inuyasha on TV. Unfortunately, I can't download anything onto my computer (don't ask, it may cause me to break the keyboard) so I've been solely relying on getting my Inuyasha fix on TV.

I think that after they (CN I mean) starts the eppies over again in May, it'll keep on going past 36 probably in the end of June.

Well for one, are there any more complertely dubbed episodes?

Second, do you know how a tv season works?

Its approaching end of season, nobody airs new stuff during the summer because usually people are outside and such, hence low ratings.

Nep is right. First of all when you dub a series you need voices for the charcters. I found out that this is done in canada. It needs to be translatted and some things changed. Nep could be right that no more new eps. will be dub that will come out until fall. If you cannot wait go buy the sub ones. Or just keep on watching them over until the new ones come out. You can get up to 102 eps. so far sub. Inu Yasha cries in 107 eps. I can not wait to see that one. I wounder if japanese is the same way as american tv goes so far they are going to air 108 on 4/28. I hope they get past 112 eps. so the next one comes out and I can see inu yasha cry over something. Eps. 106 is called "Kagome, Miroku, and Sango in Serious Crisis" They are in a fire that is all I am saying. :p

GEEEeeeZZzz that's news to me!!! I can't believe that they would do that. Well actually.... I can. CN is so stupid. If their going to keep re-running Inuyasha like that then they should just take it off!! :dizzy2:

Only in HK bootleg form. The official Viz release is only up to DVD 4, maybe #5, so far, and that's with only 3 episodes per disc.

And Washu, I don't blame them for rerunning the episodes. It's gathering new fans while they take the time to get the next set of episodes dubbed.

It's okay, it happens. ^_^ I sometimes wonder why the WB was rerunning Smallville for a while. ::shrug:: Not that I don't like Smallville....

I for one am glad they're rerunning it. It means I get to (finally) hear Sesshoumaru's dub voice without having to get the next dvd first. ^_^

The Japanese version is, obviously, voiced in Japan.

The dub is done by Ocean Group in Vancouver, Canada, so I would assume that Viz sends the episodes to them (and possibly the dub script as well) and has them voice it over and send it back.

Edit: And Basher, that would be spelled "Manitoba." Just as a note.

So wait...is the issue that CN doesn't have the dubbed eppies yet?

It's the most likely, but we can't be certain without asking CN or Viz. My guess would be that:

    1. The episodes just haven't been dubbed yet
    2. CN hasn't paid the rights to air further episodes yet
    3. CN is trying to follow a seasonal air schedule, and is thus showing a certain number, then restarting before adding more.

My best bet would be 1 or 2.

I am not surprised that Cartoon Netowrk is doing this. I have stopped watching anime on cartoon network cus of this kind of stuff. They did it and still doing it with Dragonball Z. I am not sure, but hasn't the whole DBZ series been out on VHS or/and DVD for awhile now? But still Cartoon Network still only shows like 20 or 25 episodes in the fall and than stops until next fall season. How many parts has the Buu saga been cut into by CN?

Sorry to change the subject from Inu-Yasha to DBZ, but had to bring up an example.

That's a valid point. It depends on what the producers of CN decide to do, whether they're going to air an anime in seasons set up like in America, or in Japanese seasons (which would make more sense the way anime episodes are set up).
