Anime Onegai Sensei Season 2 Preview!

Yeah, I saw something about this a few months back. It seems that "Onegai" is going to be a series. Not just "Teacher"...but I guess different "nouns". Anyway, good game on mentioning it to M2A members.

And Teddz, how many times do I have to tell you? It's Onegai Teacher. That's what the katakana on the title says. "O-ne-ga-i Tii-chaa"....or "Onegai TEACHER". Not sensei.

Don't go trying to act all knowledgeable about the title if you don't really know what it says, Teddybaka! ^_^

 

Okay gents, as far as the series goes...it's pretty, well, funny. Nothing less from the same people who made Onegai Teacher!

So, synopsis thus far:
Mike (Maiku) is seemingly a freshman in high school in the area that Onegai Teacher takes place. He's drawn there because of the "UFO sightings" from the year back, because he saw the house he used to live in there. He's a workaholic, doing various computer programming work while still going to high school. He keeps a picture of him as a baby with somebody else in a small pool, the house clearly shown in the picture...and little does he know that he's not the only one that has seen the house on the news. Miina also comes searching for her past by going to that house, as does Karen. While it's highly skeptical that any of them are related, there's still a chance...because they all share the same mysterious eye color. And that's probably what the whole problem is...are they strangers...or are they related? Can they be family...or something more? Freaky, ain't it?



What I adore about the second "Onegai" season is that it's closely tied to the manga. Actually, the only link we see about that is that Ichigo (the seemingly little girl) is very cunning and loves to play pranks in the manga. In the anime, she's very sullen and dark. So, hopefully, it's more manga-oriented.

The animation, if anything, is much better than what it was in Onegai Teacher. The comedic faces are much funnier, and the overall flow of it is the same...but smoother. Quite a few of the old cast makes an appearance...Kei's in there (but I haven't seen much of him yet...other than a sneeze) and Mizuho is Maiku's homeroom teacher! Marie also makes an appearance...much more so than any other character...and has a twist this time! She...err...actually, "HE" has a mouth!

Oh, and you don't see much "Pochy" in this series...Karen takes the sweets spotlight with her box of "Prech"...which happens to be Marie's favorite snack. ^_^

Well, that's all for my little rant. I suggest to anyone who enjoys the romantic comedy genre....do watch this. It's funny, and it's cute. Although, some people who don't share my views (*AHEM*TOMATO-CHAN!*AHEM*) probably won't like it.

Maiku and Karen are the twins. The guy and the girl with green hair. Miina is actually their neighbor. Who lived in the house that was in the backdrop.

But, they say that there all twins because Maiku and Karen ARE twins, but Miina and Karen are the ones who ACT like it.
