Am i the only person who believes that Pepsi is going to far by copying the Coke Cola by using the Vanilla flavour? Vanilla Coke has already been on the market for months and now Pepsi is copying them.

Does anybody agree with me?

No offence but I have drinken Coke for...8 months and I must say, when I had the Vanilla version, it was horrible. Now I just enjoy Sprite and Soda Water

I would have to say that the Pepsi Vanilla commercial is a blatant example of that. Albeit the Vanilla Coke sucks, that just means that Pepsi Vanilla will suck even more.

It's not really a matter of copyrighting a flavor. Seriously: if one company had the rights on Pink Bubblegum flavor, there'd be a sort of monopoly, wouldn't there? ^_^;; They didn't name it Vanilla Pepsi, but Pepsi Vanilla, which is pretty much all they can do so as not to sound... copyright infringing.

And honestly -- can you imagine a Pepsi Strawberry? (Hmm...)

Now, I happen to like Pepsi. ^_^

I'd say both sodas have a pretty even following, so no money is being lost by either company. It's fair. I see no reason for there to be chaos or discussion over such a trivial matter. ('Sides. Now there can be another Pepsi Challenge. >D Free soda! WHOO! >D)

i think the reason pepsi did it was bc they new everyone made such a huge deal about vanilla coke then it sucked the big one and so theyre kinda making fun of cokes sad little effort by making their own (i think the commercial justifies this wonderfully) and everyone who thought v.c. was awful and all the pepsi people will go out and buy some pepsi vanilla just bc. eventually it will fade out of the spotlight just like v.c. but for now i take it as one big joke. i mean cmon soda companies have a sense of humor too!

 

I like vanilla coke alot.But i hate pepsi,so i think its gonna suck hardcore.I hope they fail horribly,that s what they get for copying coke.

As much as I like pepsi...I dont like the fact that they copyed coke...they should have done something original like chocolate pepsi or something...so yah I agree with you Raven...they went to far... but the vanilla coke doesnt taste to good....so yah Im done...

Pepsi do just fine by themselves, they don't need cheap copies of coke do do well enough

 

Plase even the motto of vinilla pepsi is stupid the not so vinilla vinilla what the *beep* is that sopposed to mean the only pepsi that i even think is ok is pepsi one because it kinda tastes like coke.
