Inu-Yasha Quiz For InuYasha Fans!

Dear InuYasha Fans,

I have a quiz for you. If your were InuYasha, and Kagome and Kykio were in trouble suppose the troubles were Kykio getting killed by Naraku because she failed to do what he said and Kagome was about to be eaten by a demon who would you save? I would save Kagome for a few reasons. The first being that Kikyo is already dead, and while it would be sad (especially if I were Inuyasha) to watch Kikyo die again, Kagome is still very alive. It wouldn't be fair to choose the life of someone who has none instead of choosing the life of someone who still has a life to lose. The second reason being that I myself am a huge fan of Kagome :anime: . But if Inuyasha was actually in this position... I'm not really sure what he'd do. I think he'd aim to save them both (but might end up losing them both because of it).

 

If I was Inuyasha I would save Kagome because he already dealt with the loss of Kikyo -well he's not totally over it and whatnot but...- So, if I was Inuyasha, seeing the loss of the alive Kagome over the dead Kikyo would be a rougher loss. Though it most likley would be hard to see the already dead Kikyo die a second time. -which must feel worse for her than it would for anyone else- And Kikyo already died, so she shouldn't really be there in the first place.

 

i would say that he should save Kagome, since she's alive and doesn't deserve to die. Besides, Kikyou is already dead. if he saved Kikyou and Kagome died, he would would have 2 girls that he likes dead. attractive, eh, dead girls. he's alive, and she should make use of his life with some one else alive, like Kagome.

BUT, since Inu Yasha still has feelings for both chicks, he would probably think of aiming to save both girls. i have a little feeling though that he would save Kagome first...

 

man kagome all the way... how could u even think about kykio. think about it, inu and kag r meant to be together, and if he saves kykio all she'll do it be like ehh.... and walkaway probably, and its not like shes ganna be reborn back to life and be all lovey dovey with him agian...seriously theres no point in savin her **DIE KYKIO DIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE**

I'm definitely with Kagome's Arrow in that he'd most likely try to save them both - Inuyasha is in a pretty difficult predicament with Kagome and Kikyo, after all. I don't think he'd want to see either of them killed and know that he had chosen one above the other. While it's true that Kikyo has already died, it was a wrongful death and I'm sure Inuyasha feels partly responsible. It would seem more sensible to save Kagome and let Kikyo find peace in death, but since when is love reasonable?

Now, factoring in my opinion and the exact circumstances described, I'd go for Kikyo first. Why? Because a random demon isn't nearly as much of a threat as Naraku is. Why couldn't Miroku or Sango save Kagome? Naraku is more capable of taking out the entire team, thus putting Kagome at risk as well. (Of course, I think we'll all realize Inuyasha is not necessarily the kind who'd think that out, but eh.) It would also be particularly agonizing for Inuyasha to see Kikyo die a second time because of Naraku... adding insult to injury, y'know?

Of course, the fact that Kikyo was the first person for whom Inuyasha began to open up has got to count for something. We've seen time and again that he still cares deeply for her, even if her sentiment has changed.

 

This whole question would actually depend at what point in the series we're talking about. I don't feel like making an excessive spoiler post, but things definitely change as the story goes on (and us poor Adult Swim watchers will finally get to see all this Saturday! :catgirl, and if this were later in the series, I'd say he'd try to save Kagome. Earlier in the series? Kikyo. Somewhere in the middle? Both.

 

it would be kagome cme on she help inuyasha out alot and they like each othe. the mian reason though is,because kagome is cool. besides sesshoumaru she is one of my fav. cars.

 

Inuyasha is my favorite no matter what.

umm yes, InuYasha is my fave too, but that wasn't the question. the question is who would InuYasha save first from Naraku, kikyou or Kagome

 

it looks like the favorite is Kagome. well for me i'd go with Kikyo (someone has to root for the underdog ) the reason i'd choose her is cause she's ur first love and if there is ever a chance for things to work out again i would try my best for her. theres nothing quite like ur first love. no offence to Kagome tho since i love Kagome to pieces.

 

lol In all honesty it sort of depends on what the situation was. Are Sango and Miroku around to help Kagome? And in all honesty, Kikyo can defend herself quite well without Inuyasha's help.

Yes, ShinigamiSenshi, Kikyo was Inuyasha's first love, but let's not forget that she's dead. Even if she were to die again, it would actually probably be more of a relief then a sorrow to her, at this point I think the only reason she's hanging on is to avenge her death (depending on how far you've seen into the series).

But Kagome is alive, and she has a lot more to lose then Kikyo does. Inuyasha already feels guilty enough about Kikyo as it is, how do you think he'd feel if TWO girls had died when he could have prevented it? Even if he saves Kikyo, she's eventually going to go to hell anyway. Kagome has the chance to live out her life before she ever has to worry about that, and I don't think Inuyasha would even consider the thought of taking that away.

well that was my thoughts on it. nobody was choosing Kikyo so i just chose her otherwise this topic would be totally one sided and wouldnt be as interesting.

i disagree with u about the part that just b/c she's dead that InuYasha shouldnt even consider saving her anymore. even tho she's technically dead she still has a soul and a body that she is residing in. not trying to save her would be the same thing as letting her die if she was still alive.

but i agree with u on the part of Kagome. she's still alive and has the right to live out the rest of her life.

i still think it would be a hard choice for InuYasha to make. to choose between the one u once loved and still do or the one who u love and is with u at the present time. honestly, if it was me im not sure if i could make that kind of decision. its easy to say but having the fate of two individuals in ur hands is not an easy thing to make a choice over.

lol, well of course I think that if Kikyo is in trouble then Inuyasha should save her. But if it came down to choosing between her and Kagome, I'd say Kagome because she's alive. But if Kagome weren't in trouble then of course he should save Kikyo!

Or it just may be the fact that, as much as I <3 Kikyo, I like Kagome more.

I still think he'd just try to save them both, or he'd be too traumatized to act and end up losing them both.

Or, just because he's Inuyasha, he'd act without rationally thinking it through and just pick whichever person happened to pop into his head first, whoever that may be.

 

i was thinking the exact same thing actually. hehe. i think that suits his personality the best.

 

Hmmm, I wonder who that person would be. In moments like this he always seems to go "K-k-Kikyo!" and run off to her, but Kagome isn't usually in any fatal danger when he does so he doesn't have much of a choice to make. I think that it would probably be Kagome, the biggest reason being that Rumiko Takahashi isn't going to kill off the main character (arguably) in the entire series. The show basically revolves around Kagome, how do they expect to keep it going without her?

Btw, is it just me, or does every single person stutter when they see Kikyo? It's always "K-kikyo" this and "K-Kikyo" that. Yes, it's her, why does that come as such a surprise?

Of course, Takahashi also loves her soap-opera-esque romances. If we're talking plot devices, I think she's already shown a few times that Inuyasha will often initially choose Kikyo first, only to realize that he can't stand not to protect Kagome when she's in danger.

Well, I suppose even after some time it's still a bit of a shock when a dead woman walks up to you.

 

Um the poll had the fav question plus there is already a thread on this. Anyways I say Kagome like I said there. I can be childish too.

Yea, I bet if something like this actually happened he would automatically think "Kikyo!", but then he would remember Kagome, and they'd show a few famous couple flashbacks, and in the end it'd be her he saved.
