Anime Realistic shoujo romance

    I'm looking for shoujo's (Anime or manga) that aren't cheesy and overly dramatic. I'm gettitng kina bored with the typical shoujo. I already know about all of the toykopop books and I's, KOR, His and Her circumstances and For you in full bloossom. But I'd like to see more. Also I don't mind shounen-ai as long as it's mild with very little to no sex senes in it. Also if there are any other stories even if they are non shoujo with a good (non cheesy) love story I'd like to see them too.

    Try looking for something called W-Juliet. I'm actually currently reading it...and waiting for the next chapter. It's VERY atypical.

    Well if you're like me you like action, romance or shall i say fighting, romance series well you should keep your eye out for Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, and Ranma 1/2

    None of those are shoujo...but any of CLAMP works are extremely well done. Like, Card Captor Sakura, CLAMP in Wonderland, Angelic Layer, etc. They're all good.

    Fushigi Yuugi's good, though I think you may have (or should have) seen it already.

    Battle Athletes is a good shoujo romantic comedy that I enjoy watching all the time. Kris, my friends, is hilarity at its finest.
